Fascinating Cosmic Geometry of Indian Spiritualism - SRI YANTRA

It has taken 1 whole year for me to come up with most intersting topic to blog here.

With a warm welcome I once again set to share my thoughts an Cosmic geometry of Indian Spiritualism.

We have heard of many incidents such as some priest tell us to place a brass plate in our home to get good fortune. Genuine or Fake, people who are greedy will not care about them and they will spend lot of money to get them and place it in their home. Some other incidents where some excorcists instruct us to place a plate to driven away evil spirits from our house.

I am not sure how many of you have heard of Sri Chakra or Sri Yantra.

Sri Chakra is believed to be having very unimaginable power as it is believed goddess Durga is in the form of Sri Maha Yantra. Placing a Sri Chakra at home is equivalent to bringing the Goddess Herself to home.

SPIRITUAL BACKGROUND OF SRI MAHA YANTRA:

Hindus worship the divine power GOD
  • in idolic/image cast mostly of human form
  • as mantras, which is divine power clothed in the fundamental sounds
  • in Yantra form.
The most subtle form, Yantras, or charkas, which is said to be diagrammatic representation of Deity Goddess Devi, the consort of Lord Shiva. SRI CHAKRA,the king of chakras is a master plan of manifestation drawn by the Divine Draughtsman

Why Sri Yantra is considered as God Durga Devi?

It is said originally that Lord Shiva gave 64 chakras and their mantras to the world, to attain various spiritual and material benefits. That is why Sri Yantra is called Yantra Raja. For his consort, the Devi, he gave the Sri Chakra and the highly coveted and the most powerful Shodashakshari mantra, which is the equivalent of all the other 64 mantras put together.

Let us slightly deviate from the main topic

Mantram:
We use sound for different purposes. To express pain, to express sorrow, to express happiness, to express sorrow, for hunger, for thirst, for love etc etc etc. Similarly we use sound to reach the Almighty through one of sound energy called 'Mantra'.

Many of you have heard of Chaos theory or Butterfly effect. In simple words to say, a flutter of a butterfly is capable of changing a climatic condition. The disturbance caused by one card shatters whole card tower which we called as Dominos Effect. Mantra is similar to those facts. How?

A mantra as we mention is a form of sound energy. As per Law of conservation of Energy

"The law of conservation of energy states that energy may neither be created nor destroyed. Therefore the sum of all the energies in the system is a constant."

When we express a sound we in turn contribute to some changes surrounding our atmosphere. One form of energy is converted to another form. Some energy is convereted to Sound energy and that energy converts something to another energy. We never feel those changes as they very minute and negligible. But like how drops of water make an ocean, smaller quantities of sound energy unite together and make drastic energy transformation. We have come across some facts like breaking of a glass by screaming. It is truly possible but not by only one person alone. When we make sound we release some energy from our body. Similar type of energy when we break the glass using our hands. There is no magic in that.

Not only sound energy but also some cosmic energy is released from our body when we chant mantra. The cosmic energy may be positive or negative. Positive energy creates positive changes and negative creates negative effect. The energy level is directly proprtional to the number of people who chant mantras. That is why many Mega Yagnas are conducted as a part of worship. When more people chant mantras and release positive energy, they create a effect in our atmosphere.

The most famous "OM" is believed to be first ever sound released in this world. It is called Pranava Mantra that is source of all mantras i.e. source of sound energy in this world.

When we speak something of good, the positive energy which is released from our body is accumulated around us. Accumulated psoitive energy at some point give us positive effect to us. Mantras contain sound which help us to release positive energy from our body and soul. When we speak something of bad, our body release negative energy which in turn gets accumulated and give us negative effect.

Why we go to temple to worship God when same God is existing in oue homes in idol form. Because priests continuosly chants Mantra, the positive sound which gets accumulated to the idol present there. The accumulated positive energy stored in the idol is capable of bringing postive effects to things surrounding it. When people visit those area those positive energy is dumped on them and it gives them strength and energy. Again they release the positive/negative energy to the surrounding via sound. Thus energy is converted from one form to another and circulated from one to another.

It is said a Mantra which on chanting in front of a small ordinary stone for minimum of 10 million times without break shall transform it to a powerful stone.

Now getting back to the topic SRI YANTRA
