RAHINI - Aur Ek Prem Kahani - Innoru Kadhal Kadhai - Episode 23

HINDUSTHAN BROADCAST NETWORK

The conference hall is bit busy with incoming and outgoing crowd for the upcoming meeting. Rahini comes inside the room with a handful of paper stuffs. 

"Hello everyone" greets Rahini with a smile to everyone

All of them in the hall greet her again "Hello Mam" 

Rahini goes to the computer and plugs a pen drive in it. The projector displays the contents in the pen drive on a white screen and Rahini turns to the gathering.

"This is one of the important meeting today and we are here to discuss about an another story. Before we start our discussion I would like to show you all something."

Rahini opens a file in the computer and a video clip starts to play one of the recent sensational news running in the city.  After a few minutes play the video ends. Rahini looks at the gathering who all look terrified on seeing the video clip.

"Guys, Whatever you have seen now is nothing but a chilly, scary real life movie. One another dark side of our society."

The gathering listen to Rahini's sppech.

"An unbelievable fact is, in last one and half years approximately, around 10 children were got kidnapped in and around Mumbai, Thane areas. All of them are girls. The kidnapped child's maximum age is 13 and the minimum age is five hours at the time of kidnap" says Rahini in a rigid voice.

The crowd turns shocked and look at each other.

"These are all recorded incidents. May be there might me many more not recorded. For the past one and half years, there was not sufficient co-ordination to relate these kidnap incidents and the police were making their investigations limited to their jurisdictions. But two months before, a 9 year old girl child got disappeared. Since the girl belongs to a rich Marwari family, her parents are giving pressure at political level to find their daughter. Based on the investigations which police department done till now, they were able to find out that including this Marwari girl, totally 10 girls got disappeared. Another important information is that they got is that, a political VIP is aiding and backing the mass mafia gang who are responsible for the kidnaps."

The door of the conference hall opens suddenly distracting her speech and Pratik stands at the entrance. Rahini looks at his disheveled hair and heavy breathe. She looks at her watch and then looks at him.

"Come in" she says in a blank voice. Pratik's eyes shows a surprise.He enters and sits in a chair quietly.

Rahini continues "Now our target is to gather evidences against the mafia gang and the political VIP who supports them to expose him to the world. The evidences should be so strong that these gang should not find even a small hole to escape from the law. For this, a team who has courage to face the threat, hatred, enmity and come up with the proofs successfully is required. It is a matter of security of children and violence against them.  The sensation shall be very big and so is the risk. If the story is covered successfully, our magazine's reputation shall go to highest and also many innocent children shall be protected. The organisation shall provide you with all necessary facilities to finish the task with no political interventions. Now from your side, who is going to take up this risky task?" asks Rahini and looks at everyone to answer.

None of them answer her and all of them look at the other's face. Pratik too looks at everyone's face.

"What? Why you are all silent? Come on, answer me. who is going to take up this task?" asks Rahini to them again.

Again there is a silence in the room and all of them look at each other in discomfort. Rahini gets irritated by their silence. Pratik behaves like something not irrelevant to him is happening. 

"Very disappointing. I really did not expect this. I was thinking that all of you would compete with each each other to grab this opportunity and I am going to struggle whom to choose.  But here everything is happening in exact opposite. No one is coming forward to take this up. Why? What is wrong with you all?"

A guy opens his mouth "Mam, Whatever you have said is not wrong? But what else we can say? With this much of risk involved, what type of support we can expect from the channel. It is something about powerful politicians."

"So? What matters that? Hope you all remember that a simple journalist only exposed truth against former president of United States of America and made him resign from his post which has not happened in their history before. Our job is to expose the truth to the world. Irrespective of who it is.When he can do why can't we? I told you that our organisation shall provide with all support.What else you require? Moreover, there is an offer here. Those who complete it successfully shall get promoted and they can get 200% hike. I guarantee you. " says Rahini

Unimaginable. Come on.Hurry Up.Don't miss it. Grab it before you regret.Come on fast." Pratik opens his mouth and cheers up. 

Rahini looks at him in her usual irritating look. Pratik continues his mocking.

"But Terms and conditions apply. That is, the person should be alive at the time of promotion and hike. Because I have never heard of any dead person getting promoted and increment in his job. May be the channel shall avail your services post your life too. After all, ghost is assumed to penetrate wherever it wants. Isn't it Rahini mam?"

Rahini does not reply to him. "What you are trying to say finally?"

"I am not trying to say anything. You felt very bad that no one comes forward to cover the story. That is why I was telling them to grab it. I was just trying to help you. That is it.You always get mad at me even if I try to help you. This is not fair." says Pratik.

"Oh really. Thanks for your help. But instead of helping me, why don't you take up this assignment and help the society, help the innocent children who are all suffering? After all, you always imagine yourself as if you are a hero."

"Sorry Mam. You are absolutely wrong. I never imagine.I am already a hero only. If you want, you can go to Chandigarh and ask about me and my heroic stories.You will not know how many days you will require to know about my complete history" replies Pratik in a anger tone.

"Fine. If it is the case, then I can surely let our Punjabi hero to take this task and complete. Let us see what our Chandigarh Superman shall do?" says Rahini in a mocking voice.

"Challenging me?" asks Pratik looking at her. "Well, I thought of giving others the chance. What else I can do, if I am the only one destined to be the hero, the only hero."

Rahini looks at him with controlled annoyance. "Too much of arrogance is not good for health darling. This is not any movie script by the way. You probably more underestimate your enemy and his power?"

"I am not underestimating anyone madam. But it is you who is underestimating my power. Just watch what I am doing" says Pratik

"Whatever," says Rahini "Don't get dead. And these are the details." She gives him some files and then looks at the gathering. "Well, the meeting is over. Disperse."

All of them rise from their seats the disperse from the conference hall. Pratik looks at the files and glances the contents. Rahini watches his acts seated.

Pratik finishes the glancing and looks at her. "Not a big deal. Seems simple."

Rahini looks at him as though she admires him. "Then?"

"Will fetch the required evidences in two to three days maximum one week, may be." says Pratik casually.

"Superb. Then?"  says Rahini

Pratik looks at her and catches her mocking expression. He looks at her irritatingly, "What then? Perhaps your tone shows your fullest disbelief on me."

"Definitely not. Rather, I really admire your confidence of fetching the information within a timeline."

"Well, that is my style. Promising a deadline and fulfilling it is my favourite challenge." replies Pratik proudly

"Yeah. I can see that."  says Rahini. "So, what is your plan? You have promised two days and how are you going to make it?" asks Rahini with a real curiosity but she does not show that in her voice.

"Simple" replies Pratik. "A small clue. 'Deep throat'"

Rahini shows a bored look "Deep throat?"

"Yes"

"Be careful. These people will slit all of your throats in one stretch.They are very dangerous." says Rahini and rises from her seat.

"I am more dangerous than them." replies Pratik.

Rahini looks at him like 'God alone can help you' and leaves the place.

Apartment complex is preparing in full swing for the holi festival celebration. Serial sights are hung at all the places and whole complex was filled with colorful lights everywhere. All the people are getting ready to welcome the Spring season with colors and happiness. Rahini looks at the apartment complex from the balcony as she removes the dried clothes and feels very happy inside. Tommorrow the whole apartment people will play holi happily applying colors to their friends, beloved ones, run here and there, chase them, mock them, dance, sing etc etc etc. There is going to be lot of fun. Rahini and the family generally don't celebrate the festival but they participate the events in the celebration. Arjun is fond of colors and he did lot of mischieves last time with Chithi and Chitappa. This year also Arjun shall have lot of fun.Rahini comes inside the room and looks Arjun seated quietly on the bed. She looks at him in surprise but she does not ask him anything.

"Dinner is ready. Everybody come to the table." says Radha in a raised voice.

Arjun does not get up from the sofa and stays silent. Rahini looks at his silence in surprise again.

"Arjun, paatti is calling. Go and have your food" says Rahini to him.

Arjun looks at her sadly. He slowly gets up from the bed and leaves the room. Rahini looks at him and his behaviour very strange.

At the dining table, Arjun does not eat his food properly.

"Today is Arjun special. Arjun's favourite dish is prepared." says Radha happily. "Tommorrow is holi festival, isn't it? Though we don't celebrate it like them, we shall celebrate it in our own style.For next three days only special variety food shall be prepared in our home for our Arjun kutty. We got some reason to celebrate."

Arjun does not respond to anything. He stays quiet and calm without eating his food. Rahini looks at him worriedly.

"Kuttima, what happened? Why are you so dull? Paatti has prepared your favourite dish but you are not eating it. Are you not feeling well?"  asks Rahini. She keeps her hand on his forehead and neck to check for fever.

Arjun does not ansswer her. Radha too finds him so sad. "Pattu Kanna, What is the matter? Amma is asking you isn't it? Tell her. Did teacher scolded you in school?"

"No" came a crisp answer from the boy.

"Then what? What is wrong, kanna?" asks Radha

Arjun does not answer them. Rahini holds his hand and says "Kuttima, if you don't say anything, then what can we understand? If you have any problem, tell us.Only then we can help you. Come one speak up"

Arjun looks at his mother sadly "Amma!!!" Rahini looks at him to tell.

"Amma, Trisha..."

Rahini looks at him and says "Yes Trisha. What is up with her? Did you both fight for anything and you are so sad for that?"

"No Amma. Trisha did not come to school today."

"Oh" Rahini smiles at him feeling relieved. "You did not see her today and so you are sad"

"Kannu, let him finish first" says Kannapiraan. He looks at Arjun "You tell da chellam."

Arjun looks at Kannapiraan and says "Thaatha, Trisha did not come to school today and yesterday she was not feeling well. She told me that she has got fever.I am worried."

Rahini gives a compassionate look at him and says "Yes Kanna. Though it is Spring season, Sun is very hot in our city. It is natural children gets infections and fever. She will be fine in a day or two. Don't worry."

Arjun looks at her sadly. "No Amma. She was not at all good for many days. She told me that her father is coming home and she is going to have a lot of fun. Her father has come home. But she does not look happy. She was very dull. She only told that her father is coming back and going to live with her.Why isn't she happy then?"

"Look here Arjun. As I told children catch diseases very easily in all seasons. Since she was sick she looks dull. That is it. Nothing else. I am sure she is going to be fine soon and play with you. Better you do one thing. You have her number with you?"

"No Amma. I don't have her number"

"OK. No problem. Tommorrow your school is half a day working isn't it? I will come with you and take her with us for the holi festival here. May be she will feel good and be better. OK?"

Arjun's face turns bright. "Really Amma. Nothing is problem, right?"

"Nothing" she hugs him tightly "Don't worry your friend is going to alright soon. Now you eat the food and be happy. Tommorrow Trisha is going to be with us in our home"

"Yippy" screams Arjun. He starts to eat his food. Rahini and Radha look at each other. Radha looks like 'What is going on?' and Rahini looks her like 'Nothing. Everything if fine.'
 

RAHINI - Aur Ek Prem Kahani - Innoru Kadhal Kadhai - Episode 22

Rahini looks very upset and rubs her forehead. She holds her head and leans on the table.She then looks determined and thinks to herself.

"Millions of people come to this city and leave this city. Why would I need to bother about each of them?Nothing matters to me whoever enters the Bollywood or leaves it. Whatever the hell he does, I don't care. Let me look after my business."

Rahini raises from her seat and goes towards the cabin.She then stops suddenly in the middle.

"Oh God! I did not get my stuff till now and I am sitting here thinking about unnecessary things."She gets annoyed again.She starts to look downwards in the floor and moves forward searching it.

As she does her search looking down, she bumps with a person coming in the opposite direction. She looks at the person to be Pratik who is rubbing his forehead showing a painful look in his face. 

Rahini too rubs her forehead by the pain and looks at him in a irritatingly. Pratik looks at her and says "Why are you glaring at me? I did not do anything. While walking we have look at the front not at down"

Rahini answers him with irritation "Did I ask or say anything to you? Why are you talking unnecessarily. Already I am in a irritation of losing my precious stuff. I am searching it now. Go away without irritating me further."

"It would be a eighth wonder for me to see your face without irritation. May be I can a Sun at night but not a smile in your face." teases Pratik

Rahini smiles in her lips and irritation in her eyes "Ha! Ha! Ha! Very Funny. Now please leave the place if your stupid joke is over." Rahini continues to look for her stuff on the floor here and there. Pratik looks at her smilingly. 

"So you have lost your precious possession, is it?" asks Pratik. Rahini stops looking down and turns towards him.

"I believe, that is what I told you,just now."

"May be I can help you."

Rahini looks at him and asks "What you are going to search with me? No thanks. I can do it by myself."

"No need. I will do a simple magic and get your stuff back.By the way,you cannot get that thing just by your search but only through my magic" 

Rahini looks at him without saying anything. Pratik waves hands in front of Rahini and pretends to do some magic.

"Abracadabra, Bippity, Boppity, Boo,Jantar Mantar Jadu Mantar,Meeska, Mooska, Mickey Mouse" says Pratik and Rahini interrupts him

"Hey,Hey, In which language you are speaking? And why are you scolding in bad words?" 

Pratik stops waving hands and looks at her "Hello Mam, I am doing magic.Not scolding. Just wait." He again waves his hands and utters "Abracadabra, Mecca lecca hi, mecca hiney ho, Izzy wizzy,Walla Walla" he rotates his up and down, forward and backward in all directions and Rahini's irritation grows slowly.

Finally he puts his hands in his pockets and takes a stuff from it and shows it in front of her saying "Dadong"

Rahini looks at the stuff in his hands and her face turns surprised from irritation. She looks like as if she is not able to believe what she is seeing. She gets the stuff from his hand and stares at it.

Pratik says "Well. Here is your valuable possession." 

Rahini looks at the stuff with surprise without answering him. Pratik gets the stuff and looks at it. A dollar which has provision to open it. He opens the dollar and sees a photograph of a young man placed in it.

"The guy in this photo looks very handsome." says Pratik looking at Rahini who has immersed herself in some thoughts. Pratik looks at her in surprise. He waves his hands in front of her and distracts her. She comes out of the thoughts and stares at him. He looks at her and raises his eyebrows like 'What?'. She looks at him and nods her head like 'Nothing'. She gets the stuff from him and looks the photo inside the dollar.

"So,I don't have to ask if he is your beloved...." says Pratik without completing his sentence and looks at her. Rahini's face looks sad and she nods her head like 'Yes'

Pratik says "So, I did the magic and got back your stuff. Are you happy now?"

Rahini looks at him and asks "From where did you get this?" 

"Did not you see how I brought it through my magic?"

"Fun apart. Answer me properly. Where did you get it?" asks Rahini in a firm voice.

"What bothers you? You got it back anyway. Forget it." says Pratik and moves forward.

"No" she stops him from moving. "Answer my question"

"Day before yesterday, you remember how you ran to the studio as if you were running for Olympics games' running race?" says Pratik in a teasing tone."You did not notice it falling down from your bag. I found and kept it with me."

Rahini's face turns in shock on hearing this. "Oh, God! Looks like I have lost that also in Delhi." Rahini says to herself. Pratik looks at her shock in surprise. "Hello, you got your stuff isn't it? Is your father working in Electricity Board? Why are you getting shocked like this again and again?"

Rahini looks at him and says "This is not the one I was looking for". Pratik looks at her in surprise. Rahini notices him and answers him immediately "I mean, I did not know I have lost this too. I was searching for my another precious stuff.Now I have to re-check my bag fully and should find out what are all things I have lost till now. A small hole changed my entire life." Rahini says in a sad voice.

"Well, I don't understand. What can be much more precious for you than your late husband's photograph?"

Rahini looks at him and says "Well, not all questions in this world are answered. You cannot understand it and I don't expect you to do so." she looks at the dollar once again and turns to Pratik "Anyways, Thank you for finding this and giving it back." in a blank and rigid voice and leaves from the place.

Pratik says to himself "Do I really not deserve a better thanks than this?" in an annoying tone. "Hello Madam" he calls her. Rahini stops and turns back at him.

"I don't know what is that precious thing you have lost.But one thing I can say for sure. If you have an true emotional attachment to it, one day, sure it will come to you. If not, you will go to the place where it is."

Rahini gives a simple look at him without any reply. She then leaves the place.

Rahini comes to her cabin sadly and looks like exhausted.She sits on her seat and her eyes turn teary which she tries to control.

A scene flashes in her mind.

Rahini closes her eyes and a woman standing in front of her slowly shows a gift to her. Rahini opens her eyes and looks at the gift. Her eyes show surprise on seeing it.

She asks the woman "Hey, What is this?" in same surprise.

"My gift to you on your first day as journalist" says the woman in a cheer and joy in her voice. The woman takes Rahini's hand in her hand and places the gift in the hand. Rahini looks at the gift without saying anything. Her face is full of surprise, happiness, shock and several mixed feelings. 

She opens the gift wrap and takes the stuff from it. It is an ink pen in golden color. Rahini looks at the pen in an astonishment. She then looks at the woman and exclaims"The pen is really beautiful" 

"Pen is mightier than sword, isn't it? The mightier weapon for a mightier woman who has born to change the world" says the woman to her. Rahini looks at her in a teary but happy expression. Both of them hug each other.

"Listen carefully, Journalist Madam. This is not just a pen but this is me. Absolute 'Me'. Myself and this pen are both same. If you have this with you, it is assumed that I am with you." says the woman and Rahini smile at her.

The woman says in a warning tone "Also listen this. There might a day come where we both can part away. Even you get separated from me, this pen should be with you always. You are not at all permitted to lose this. If it is lost, then you have lost me. That is it. And there may and may not be chances that I will come to you again. So keep it careful and promise me that you will not lose it. 

Rahini nods her head like 'Yes'. She keeps her hand on the woman's hand and promises her.Both of them hug each other again.

"Come on, rock the world like anything" says the woman in a magnificent voice and both of them laugh together.

Rahini tries to wipe her tears on realizing where she is now. She opens the dollar again and looks at the photo in it.

"Aarav, What is this? Why this is happening to me? You know that pen is my most precious possession.How careless I was, not even knowing that I have lost my important thing in my life. What has happened to me? Even when there was a threat to my life, I managed to save this locket and that pen. But I lost it just like that. Like how this locket alone is left form me as your memory, that pen alone is left for my memory of best friend. Pratik saved this and gave it to me. But who will bring that to me?"

Rahini starts to cry looking at the locket.

Pratik passes by through the cabin and stops at looking her through the glass. He rubs his eyes on seeing her and turns surprised.

"What is this? Whatever I am looking now is real or dream? Tears, that too from the eyes of the most dynamic and bold woman according to the world. How it is possible?" asks himself.

Pratik sees Rahini talking something looking at the locket.

"Is she crying for the stuff she lost? Does that really matter a lot to her? What it might be?"

Rahini keeps talking to the locket.

"It was not only my precious memory but also my luck too. Shortly after I lost it, I am facing and hearing unwanted things and I really did not like whatever is happening now in my life. Please Aarav, I know you were with me in all my hurdles and helped me to overcome all my obstacles.Now please be with me and help me to find that pen. Please do some magic and bring that pen to me again."

Pratik looks at her still and his face shows irritation. Rahini turns away and looks Pratik standing outside. Pratik turns his face away and pretends to look at the file which is in his hand. He then pretends to talk in his mobile and moves from the place. Rahini quickly wipes her tears and keeps the locket in her bag.

Pratik moves from the place and thinks to himself.  "Most important specimen to be placed in museum. Shedding tears for a lifeless thing. Should I do anything now? Sure she is not going to tell what is that thing. Without knowing that I cannot do anything. What bothers me? Let me look after my business"

He turns towards the cabin and looks at her. Rahini is typing in her computer keyboard through the glass. He leaves the place and Rahini looks him leaving.

She reminds him doing a magic and giving her the locket. She thinks to herself. "He really did a great thing to me today without his knowledge. But I was not at all good to him and behaved somewhat very rudely.I should have not thanked him like that. From next time let me not be like this. But one thing for sure. Suddenly I can feel a change in him. God, this should continue all along. He found the locket and he gave it to me. But I don't know who has the pen and that person will give it to me or not. Where could it be now?"

"Bhaiyya! I need your sign in this cheque." Arun comes to him with a cheque book in his hand. Rohit looks at him and the cheque book. He takes the cheque from him and looks for a pen.

"Bhaiyya, I will give" says Arun and keeps his hands in his pocket.

"No need." says Rohit and takes a pen from his pocket and signs the cheque. He then gives the cheque to Arun.

Arun takes the cheque from him and looks at the pen in Rohit's hand. His face turn surprised.

"Bhaiyya, What is this? I have not seen this pen with you before. Did you buy it?" asks Arun.

Rohit looks at the pen and says "No. I did not buy it. I got it."

"Oh, somebody gifted you?"

"Not really. A kind of stealing."

"What? You stole this pen? From whom, where, when, why..."

"Hey, take a breath for a second." says Rohit in a teasing tone "A kind of theft not done deliberately to steal. I saw the person dropping this pen without her knowledge. I saw her again but I did not return it. Keeping a stuff which does not belong to us and not returning to its owner is a kind of theft isn't it? "

"Oh, Why you did not return it to her?" asks Arun. He gets the pen from him and looks at it. "But Bhaiyya, this pen looks like an expensive stuff. The nib looks like made of gold. Real gold may be." He looks at Rohit who says "May be"

"Bhaiyya, if it so, then sure it a theft" says Arun with fun filled voice. Rohit smiles at him.Arun's mobile phone rings and he attends it.

"Hello"

............

"Yes, please tell me."

..........

"Oh really. Great news."

........

"Yes, sure. I will be there in an hour"

Arun disconnects the call and looks at Rohit happily. "Bhaiyya, Call was from bank. Our loan has got approved finally. Bank manager told me to meet him with the necessary documents. I shall leave now. With this loan amount we will be able to finish the climax sequence and release the movie soon."

Rohit smiles at him. "Good news really. Fine, you leave soon."

"Bhaiyya, I have heard a saying that, if we possess something by stealing, that stolen stuff shall have the capacity to bring fortune to us. May be your new pen has too got that power too. As soon as you start to use the pen, the long time pending loan got approved.Our long time tension got solved." says Arun kiddingly.

"Arun, Don't be silly. I don't believe in these craps.A lifeless thing cannot decide our life. We are alone responsible for whatever we are doing and no one else and nothing else.You better leave soon before the bank closes." says Rohit and he look into the file in his hand.

Arun smiles at him and leaves the place

RAHINI - Aur Ek Prem Kahani - Innoru Kadhal Kadhai - Episode 21

Rahini stuns and get shocked on seeing the video clips of Rohit Kumar's films and the narrations of his filmography.

"Oh My God! Is he the Super Star who is making his re-entry in the industry?" she asks to herself.

Rahini gets a flash of her past and a voice is heard.

"Don't even think of trying your cheap tricks to trap me."

"And I don't want my doorstep to be messed up by a third grade cheap reporter like you. I do not want to see your face again in my life. Got it?"

"Just stay away from my family and don't dare to come in front of me in your lifetime."

Rahini's face turns shocked and puzzled and she cannot withstand the shock. She immediately turns away from the Television.

She holds a nearby tomb and starts to sweat. She breathes very heavily and shivers.

The TV broadcast of the video clips interrupts and press meet with Rohit starts as Rahini moves away from the place fast.

Rohit and Anirudh stands near the entrance hall of the press meet hall.

"Bhaiyya! It is since 7 years you have attended a press meet. I hope you still remember how to answer media people, right?" asks Arun in a low voice.

Rohit looks at him and gives a slight smile "Don't worry. I will manage."

"Not like that, bhaiyya. You don't like press stuff and all. But we are relying on them. Do you remember, you once shouted at a press meet at a reporter some years back that too a lady reporter.It has become a great issue then. Please Bhaiyya, Calm down and if you get annoyed by any of the questions,just leave it to me. Act like you love them and you owe them a lot just like you are acting for a film.A real life acting.OK?"

"I know. Just shut up. I told you isn't it that I will manage. Now you go and start." says Rohit in an irritating tone.

Anirudh does not says anything. He looks at him for few seconds and then leaves the place. He comes to the press meet hall and sits on a chair.He turns to the reporters who are gathered in the press meet hall.

"Hello Everybody, May I have your kind attention please" says Anirudh to reporters. The hall turns to silence slowly as soon as his speech is heard and everyone pay attention to him.

"First of all, Thank you very much for accepting our invitation and coming here. It is being a pleasure to meet you all."

The gathering gives a slow applaud.

"Please allow me to welcome my beloved brother and your beloved Super Star Rohit Kumar after seven years."

Rohit appears in front of the media people in a new avatar in a clean shaved head, a long time beard with a sun glasses in his eyes.

The press media people stand dumbstruck and unbelievable on looking at his new appearance. As soon as he appeared,the flashes of camera start to light from every corner of the press meet hall. Rohit Kumar sits on the chairs placed in the center. The reporters start to shoot out their questions to him which created a noise in the hall.Rohit turns annoyed by the behaviour. Anirudh understands the situation and opens his mouth before Rohit says something.

"Please, all please be seated. I know thousands of questions flood in your minds.He is here to answer to all of them. So first of all, please allow us to address the gathering. He is meeting you all after seven long years. After, please ask questions one by one." Arun turns to Rohit and says "Bhaiyya! Please start."

Rohit looks at and gathering and starts to speak and crowd becomes silent.On other side cameramen click hundreds of photograph of him.

"Hello, Greeting to all. It is a great pleasure to meet you all once again after a short break. And thanks to all of you for being present here.Your presence makes me realise how much I am valuable still. I am very much grateful and happy for that. It is because of you all I am here. You are connecting me to the fans for which I owe you a lot."

Rahini sits on the chair away from the reception hall. She does not feel well and leans against the wall closing her eyes. She does not see the television but hears the press meet conversation. Her face turns angry on hearing the speech of Rohit Kumar.

A voice comes through her mind

"You press reporters are cheap indecent craps. Shameless enough to peep through the bathroom of a celebrity and capture them peeing. Disgusting creatures!"

Rohit Kumar continues to speak

"Once again I thank you for coming here. This press meet is not only to inform my re-entry to my fans and to the world but also to inform how blasting entry I am going to make. Myself and my team have worked very hard so that I don't disappoint my fans in my come back.I hope my fans like it for sure. I am very happy to present you the first look of my film"

Rohit looks at Arun who understands and presses a button. A screen start to move upward in four corners of the press meet hall and a banner is displayed with a man with a hat in his head, long knife in his hand standing in his backwards with his head alone half turned to front side.

Below the banner the name of the film shines in golden color as 'My Name is Romeo'

The crowd start to cheer up and applaud on seeing the first look of the poster. Rohit and Anirudh look at the gathering in a tensed and worried way yet they did not show it.

The applause goes on for a while and Rohit and Anirudh wait for it to stop. 

Anirudh turns to the crowd and says "Now you may all please come up with your questions, but one by one"

The crowd start to shoot out their questions at a time which makes noise over there. Rohit's face start to turn angry but Anirudh holds his hand singing him to control himself. 

"Please, Please, one at a time" Anirudh calms down the crowd. He points out a person on the crowd to ask a question. A lady reporter asks a question to Rohit.

"Sir, Congratulations on your re-entry. You were in a peak of stardom when you decided to leave the industry seven years before. It was rumored that you were much upset by the demise of your wife Mrs.Sakshi Arte and depressed and that is why you wanted to stay away. Is it true?"

Rohit gets angry on the question. Anirudh gets scared on seeing him. He once again presses his hands tightly. Rohit smiles at the reporter.

"Well, those are old stories and they have been answered during my last press meet itself. I request you all to ask something relevant about this press meeting. They are all past and I want you all to be present."

Again the crowd rushes up and Anirudh picks another person to question.

"Why you suddenly decided to make a come back after seven years? Your production house 'ARTE FILMS' has faced a heavy loss by your last production venture. Is it true that you have decided to come back to compensate the incurred losses of PH?"

Rohit answers with a controlled anger in his eyes and smile in his lips "Ups and downs, failures and success are part of one's life. Yes, there was a loss for 'ARTE FILMS' but that is nothing like which it could not be borne. Still AF is in stable position and has nothing to do with my re-entry. My decision was taken a long time before. I was looking for a perfect script and timing to make it which took me this many years."

"Please say something about your come back venture.Are you playing a negative role in this film? " asks another reporter.

"Well, myself and the team are doing a very hard work. Unlike my earlier films I have done something different. It is an action thriller. The character shall be very different one from which I had played earlier. It will also contain all the stuffs which fans are expecting from a Rohit's film. That is it. Nothing else I can reveal right now"

"When it is planned to release?"

"It is planned for summer release. Just wait not more than couple of months. I will be coming to entertain you all." says Rohit in a smile.

"After this film, what is your next plan?"

"I have not planned anything in my life and am letting it as it is to happen. But sure I am not retiring from industry anymore and I shall be there till my last breathe to make you people happy."

"Your wife's death made you to keep away from films. Have you recovered from that loss?"

Rohit's face turn sad on this question. He does not answer the reporter and remains calm.

"Excuse me, Sir. Are you OK?" asks the reporter again. Anirudh once again presses his hands. Rohit looks at the reporter and smiles.

"A kind of. Always keep going whether it is success or failure, good or bad. This is my policy"

Rahini feels irritated and angry on seeing the people cheering the super star. 

"Oh God, What is this? Why this is happening to me? My life was very peaceful all these days. Why the hell he came here again? I don't want to hear his name nor anything about him. But fate tests me like this"

Rahini looks at the gathering who were watching the press meet. She feels like shouting at them for wasting the time watching the craps but she is not able to. She looks at a place where few girls gathered and giving flying kisses to the actor on the television. She further gets irritated on their acts and turns away from there.

"Shameless creatures" she scolds them in her mind.

The press meet continues for another few minutes.

Another reporter asks a question to Rohit.

"Sir, it is said that you are not sharing good terms with your daughter and have not met her in last seven years. And also you are not together too. Is it true?"

Rohit's patience runs out and turns fully angry on the question and person who asked it. He is about to open his mouth and shout at the person as Anirudh quickly reacts to the situation as he was already prepared for it. He immediately holds his hands and intervenes before Rohit react in an unwanted manner.

"Excuse me. This press meet is all about the re-entry and the new film launch of actor Rohit Kumar. Please ask questions related to it alone Let us not be personal.By the way, the answer to your question is, whatever you have heard about this is an perfect rumor. Dad and daughter share a very intimate bond with each other having both of them lost their important part of their life. Yes they were not together and the decision is taken for the girl's sake and she is under the care of our mother. But now dad and daughter have united and both of them are fine.That is it. It is an absolute rubbish news."

Rohit tries to control his fury and Anirudh is looking at him in worry. Rohit signs Arun to finish off the meet soon. Arun understands it and he turns to the reporters.

"Guys, I hope all of your questions are answered. We will soon meet you all again in the Audio Launch of the film which shall happen shortly. Once again Thank you very much for coming." says Arun and both of them rise from their seats and leave the place while the reporters still try to ask questions and cameras flash from nook and corner of  the room.

Rahini turns shocked on hearing the question asked by the reporter about Rohit and his daughter. She rises from her place and rushes to watch the television as her mobile phone rings. She looks at her mobile. It flashes 'VP Calling'. She turns disappointed and attends the call.

Few minutes later she returns to the place only to see the press meet has ended and the gathered crowd dispersing. She hears the conversation of the fellow colleagues talking to each other.

"What do you think? Is he going to succeed in his come back. I feel the charisma, the look and handsomeness is not as it was before seven years"

Another guy replies to him "Of course. A long gap of seven years,isn't it?. He has become aged too. Moreover he was in depression. Everything made his charisma to vanish. Even I doubt about his film's success. Not sure"

"Did you hear one guy asked about his relationship with his daughter. He did not answer to the question rather his brother only answered. It was not satisfactory.Hope something is wrong between the father and daughter's relationship.Nothing is good between them.No smoke without fire isn't it?"

As both of them talk and leave, Rahini stands like a status, stunned to hear the conversation.

"What is this? What they are saying? Is there any chances of their statement being true? Does not Rohit treat his daughter properly? What is going on?"

"What is going on here? What the hell these people think about themselves? Why these people have not all changed? Idiot, crap"

Rohit shouts at his bedroom throwing away his clothes in anger. Anirudh feels really odd on his behavior and stands like not knowing how to control him.

"Bhaiyya, calm down, Why are you reacting like this?" asks Arun in frustration.

"These people have crossed all the limits. What is up with them about how I treat my daughter and how I am living with her? Bull shit"

"Bhaiyya! You are a celebrity. A Super Star. It is obvious people interfere in every aspect of your life." says Arun

"But this is too much. I cannot tolerate this any more. Does not a Super Star have his own privacy and personal life? How they are supposed to interfere in it? And by the way how they are gathering information like this? I don't understand" shouts Rohit in anger.

"Bhaiyya, all celebrities are paying their privacy as a price for their celebrity status.And all the reporters are paid for these jobs by their respective channels. You cannot blame them anymore."

"Nonsense. You are supporting them and justifying their craps?"

"I am not supporting them but saying the truth. We rely on them and we cannot oppose them, at any cost"

Rohit looks at Arun in anger "What do you want to say now?"

"What I want to say is, you have to be very careful from now on.Your every single moment shall be noted very minutely. You have to make sure no one points finger at you in a negative way. Otherwise your image might get spoiled and it will affect our film's promotion too. Better try to do something on your relationship with your daughter." says Arun in a blank voice. 

Rohit looks at Arun in fury. He does not answer to him and leaves the room in anger. Arun feels very bad seeing his acts.

"I know Bhaiyya, Where you will go now. What can I do on this? God, Please do some magic and unite the father and daughter. I cannot see the girl and Bhaiyya suffering the pain anymore"

RAHINI - Aur Ek Prem Kahani - Innoru Kadhal Kadhai - Episode 20

Radha and Rahini becomes shocked on hearing what Ram spoke. KP gets raged and furious by Ram's speech and he slaps him very harshly.

"That is it. You have crossed beyond the limits. If you speak one word even, I will burn you to death." shouts KP.

Ram looks at KP and says "So a road side beggar is more important to you than your son. Isn't it?"

"Yes. She is important to us because your mother and me consider her as our daughter who we lost many years back. Not because of the bull shit reason which you cruelly mentioned. I am in her father's age but how ill you spoke of her and me! Shame on you. I really regret that God wrongly took away my baby girl from me. He should have taken you instead and let her with us." says KP in furious and broken voice. Tears starts to roll down from his cheeks.

Radha looks at Ram disgustingly. Rahini starts to cry heavily. Ram realizes about how he spoke just before. He turns to Radha and gets scared to see her face. KP sits on the sofa fully broken by the harsh words spoken by him.

Ram bents down near to him and says "Appa, I am very sorry. I should have not spoken like that. Appa, Please forgive me."

KP does not answer him. Ram goes to Radha and holds her hand "Amma, please tell him to forgive me. I spoke out of anger and did not mean like that. Please Amma, make him understand."

Radha looks at Ram in the same disgusting look. She relieves her hands from his hands. Ram looks at both of them and stands with tension.

"Radha, tell him that from now on, Rahini is the daughter of this house. He does not belong to this house and family. Tell him to leave this home immediately" says KP in firm voice.

Ram gets shocked on hearing KP's speech. He shouts "Appa!!!"

"Yes, What I told now is final. From today onward my son is dead. There is no connection between this gentleman and us." says KP. 

Ram looks at Radha with plea and Radha looks at KP in shock. She tries to console him but KP says to her

"You have only one choice to choose. It is husband or son. Decide who you want. If you choose him, I will leave this house with my daughter. You can stay with him and don't ever show your face to me even after my death."

Rahini stands like a frozen ice statue in full state of shock. 

Ram goes inside his room in anger. After a while, he comes out with a suitcase in his hands. He looks at Radha and says "So you ready to sacrifice your blood for a roadside b**ch, isn't it? Fine, Let me tell you now. From today, I have no parents. I can live my life by myself.I will not show my face even after my death. It is a promise"

Ram leaves the place with full anger and rage. Rahini tries to stop him. "Anna, please don't do this. I will leave this place immediately. Please don't leave your parents. I beg you."

Ram looks at her with hatred and shouts at her "Don't call me like that you wicked woman! You took away my parents from me, Isn't it. I am telling this today, you will never be happy in your life."

Ram leaves the house carrying his stuffs. Rahini looks at KP and Radha and says "Sir, Please stop your son. Ask him to come back, Please Sir"

KP looks at her and says "Sir? Why are you calling me like that? Didn't you hear what I told now. We consider you as our daughter who died many years ago. From now on, we are your parents and you are our daughter.Don't call me sir, Call me as Appa..."

KP turns sad on saying the word 'Appa'. 

He says "Don't call me Appa. I will be reminded of that bloody idiot. Call me as Chitapa and her as Chithi. But this is just a relationship tag only. But we will be like your parents. He cursed you that you will not live happily, isn't it? I am challenging now that I will bring all the happiness in your life and make you shine like a star in this whole world. It is a promise." says KP 

Rahini looks at both of them in tears. KP smiles at her "Don't cry my child. Call me as Chitapa."

Rahini does not say anything.KP says "Call me,dear" in an insisting voice. 

Rahini opens her mouth and says "Chitapa"

"Chitapa" calls Rahini. She switches on all the lights in that room and sees KP sitting on the bed with tears in his eyes.

She goes near to him and looks at his tears. She wipes the tears and sits beside him.

She says "Some person advised me some days back that we should not remind our past and get hurt our self. Where is he?" asks Rahini in a teasing voice.

KP does not answer her.

"Chitapa! Please don't cry. I feel very bad seeing you both like this. Why do you hurt yourself for no reason. Is this tears are really necessary to be shed?" asks Rahini.

"What do you want to say? Just spit it out" says KP in an irritation tone. Rahini hesitates for a while and she says

"About Chithi..." KP interrupts her "I told my decision already and I don't want to talk about it any more." says KP in a rigid voice.

"But why this much fury even after six years. Chithi told that Ram Anna is badly in need of help. Please forget everything and rekindle the relationship with him."

"If you have anything else to talk about, you can stay here. Else go to your room. I am very tired and need to sleep." says KP.

Rahini turns angry. "You cannot get rid of me very easily. Answer to my question. Are you going to let her to go to Ram anna's house or not?"

"I did not stop her from going anywhere provided if she is fine with my condition."

"But why? Chithi told Ram anna has realized his mistakes and he wants to apologize to you and to me also. Let us forget everything."

"Breaking a relationship and rekindling it are happening as per convenience. That day, he turned a dirty monster for sake of his love. Today he has become an angel for you just because he is apologizing.By the way, don't you have any self-respect. How can you forgive him, even after this much insult?"

"Are you aware of making a line segment smaller without erasing it by drawing another big line segment beside it? Same principle.The line segment which he drawn still remains small when compared to line segments drawn by other people in my life. Hence I am able to forgive him." says Rahini in sad voice.

"But till now no one drew another big line segment than this in my life. Still it remains the biggest line segment and I cannot erase it very easily." says KP.

"Chitapa, you speak to him once and may be your opinion might change." 

"After your entry in this house, I did not refuse any of your wishes until today. Let it be as it is. Don't make me refuse your wish."

"But Chitapa..."

KP joins his hands and says "This is not a request. I am begging you. Just understand my feelings.Now leave me alone."

Rahini turns disappointed. She thinks to herself 'May be today I am leaving you and backing off for time being. But Chitapa, I am no way giving up.I promise'. Rahini smiles to herself.

Rahini enters the office after her after noon show as everyone stared to applaud on her entry. She once gets stunned by the situation but then starts to smile.

All of her editorial team members gather together and clap for few minutes. Also many of her colleagues shake her hands and say "Congratulations Mam. You were simply awesome"

"Thank you. Thank you so much" says Rahini with a proud smile.

"Mam, a drastic change in your look. You are very beautiful now. Where did you hide these beauty all these days?" says a girl in enthusiasm.

Rahini naughtily glares at her with smile "Hey, why are you teasing me?"

"Not at all, Mam. You are simply superb. You are beautiful actually. Promise" says the girl

Rahini smiles at her."Thank you very much for the compliments"

"Also Mam, we heard about the lift stunts which you did on that day." says the guy kidding her.

Rahini's face turns in fake anger. "Oh, you people knew that too?"

"Yes Mam. Very nice story. Actually we have to cover this too separately in our magazine beside Mr.Modhwadia's award article. How fun it will be?" says a girl in fun filled voice.

"Oh really. Along with that why don't we cover the story with that article with headline 'Creative Director breaks the tooth of Reporter'. It will also be very fun" says Rahini

All of them laugh at Rahini's statement.

"So nothing that is left for me to give to you all in this Delhi trip, Isn't it?I thought my lift story would make your time interesting" says Rahini pretending to be sad.

"Mam, Why not? You have brought us a mind-blowing thing. We are very happy that you have fulfilled the promise you made for us?" says another guy.

Rahini blinks at his statement. She turns surprised and asks "What promise did I fulfill?"

"The one you made on that day. We asked you to bring something for us from Delhi, isn't it?" replies the guy

"But what did I bring? I did not bring anything even for my parents."

"Mam, don't say lies. You have brought a big thing with you and you have gifted us."

Rahini still blinks at all of them.

A girl says "Mam, still don't you remember" with a smile in her face. "We asked you that day to bring something interesting, sensational and mind blowing, do you remember?"

Rahini reminds the day where everybody asked like that. She gets cleared of her confusion.  But her face turn surprised again.

"But what sensational and mind blowing you are talking about?" asks Rahini.

"What Mam, you talking like as if you know nothing?" teases a guy.

"I am talking because I am not aware of what you are talking about. Tell what is that which I have brought according to you?"

"Mam, you have brought a seven year old super star story back to Mumbai from Delhi." says a girl with full cheer in her voice.

Rahini looks at her in wonder.

"What is that seven year old story?"

"Mam, What is this? You are a great journalist. But you are not even aware of current events of our city.Don't you know that a Super star is going to make a big bang re-entry?" asks a girl.

"What?" asks Rahini in astonishment. "Really?"

"Yes Mam. Today at 2.00 pm, a press meet is organised at his house. Our reporters too left for attending it. He was in Delhi for past seven years. But he returned now with you.By chance, did you meet and convinced him to make the re-entry?" asks another girl naughtily kidding her.

"Oh, I really did not know. I did not had enough time to browse through things due to some issues. Anyways, who is that Super star?" asks Rahini to all.

"Mam, he is not only a super star. A killer star. A star with killer charm. You know how many girls lost their sleep when his debut movie was released. I still remember. I was a school student then. I was not at all able to sleep for more than ten days after watching his movie. Wow, what a man? He is the one and only one" praises a girl standing in dreaming state.

Rahini starts to laugh at the girl and her actions. One guy waves his hands in front of the girl's face to distract her. The girl gets annoyed and pushes him aside.

"Mam, you know how many girls' heart got broken when he married his co-star actress? What A lucky chap she is, sorry she was! What is the name of her?" asks a girl.

As another girl is about to answer Rahini's mobile starts to ring. Rahini takes the mobile and looks at the caller. It flashes 'VP Sir'. She attends the call and speaks "Yes Sir"

......

"Yes Sir. I have reached now only."

......

"Yes Sir, sure. I will come now"

She disconnects the call and looks at all. "Guys, Chief is calling me. Let me go and I will hear your super star story later. Bye" says Rahini and leaves the place.

"Wrong timings yaar. Chief always does like this." says a girl annoyingly.

"What is the time now?" asks another girl

"Time is 01.45 PM. Press meet shall start soon. Let us go and watch it. I would wish Mam also watches the sensation." says one guy.

All of them leave the place.

Rahini comes to the bay and gets surprised to see no one are seated in their place. She looks at the time which shows 10.55 AM.

"My goodness. Suddenly any alien invasion happened here? Total bay is empty. what happened?" wonders Rahini to herself.

A girl comes almost like running and bangs with Rahini. She notices her and becomes tensed on seeing her.

"Oops, Mam, I am sorry. I was going to cafeteria." says the girl to her

Rahini smiles at her and says "Don't say you were going but say you were rushing. By the way, what  happened? I think I don't have to ask where are all the people gone? Isn't it?" says Rahini.

"Yes Mam. All have assembled at cafeteria only."

"Oh really? Why today, is somebody providing everyone free meals?" asks Rahini in a fun filled tone.

"Mam, who wants the free meals and all. We are waiting to watch the super star after seven years. Mam, don't you know that?" says the girl in cheer.

"Oh, yeah. I remember, some film actor is guy is making a come back and he is going to meet the press isn't it?"

"Mam, not some guy. Super Star. Mam, sure you also come there and watch it" says the girl.

Rahini smiles at her.

"Mam. I will leave now." the girl rushes from there. Rahini smiles on seeing her rush.

The whole cafeteria is filled with the employees of Hindustan Now channel gathered in front of the big television.

Shortly some movie clips start to run in the channel and a narrator starts to voice over.

BUT SOONER ROHIT KUMAR'S COMEBACK WAS CONFIRMED IN AN UNTITLED ACTION FLICK WHERE HE ESSAYS A GREY SHADE ROLE FOR THE FIRST TIME. THE FILM WHICH WAS ALMOST COMPLETED WITH ONLY FEW STUNTS SEQUENCES PENDING, THE FIRST TEASER OF THE MOVIE IS EXPECTED TO BE UNVEILED SOON.


Rahini searches her bag fully for at least for fifth time but she does not get anything from it.

"Where the hell did I keep? God..." says herself.

Rahini thinks about something. She then looks at her bag once again and checks it. At one point she stuns to see the bag which has a small hole in it.

"Oh God, What is this?" asks  Rahini to herself in a tensed tone.

She then wakes up from her chair and starts to look down from in the whole cabin.She does not get anything. She then comes out of her cabin to the bay and starts to look on the floor.

As she searches for the thing she is looking for she comes to the reception but looks surprised on seeing the crowd gathered there. The crowd starts to cheer and clap for every 10 to 15 seconds. Rahini looks at everyone and then the at the TV.

She shocks looking at the video clips broadcast on the channel.

RAHINI - Aur Ek Prem Kahani - Innoru Kadhal Kadhai - Episode 19

Rahini looks at Kannapiraan in surprise. 

"What? You are much surprised. I am not any tantric. I just found your name from the documents which was in your bag" says Kannapiraan with smile.

The nurse looks at them and asks "Sir, full name?"

Kannapiraan looks at Rahini who does not reply to her.  The nurse asks again.

"What is your full name madam? And also please the tell name of the child's father." says the nurse.

Rahini begins to cry again and hugs the baby. Radha and Kannapiraan look at her and Radha consoles her.

"Madam, Please cry afterwards. First let me know the details. I have a lot of work to finish" says the nurse rudely to her.

Kannapiraan looks at the nurse in anger. But he does not say anything. Rahini does not reply to her questions.

"Madam, why are you not answering? Do this child has got a father or not?" asks the nurse in a harsh tone. Rahini looks shocked on the question.

"Excuse me, please don't talk unnecessarily. She will answer your questions now." says Kannapiraan. He looks at Radha and she understands him.

She gently hugs Rahini and says "Answer her questions dear". Rahini stops to cry and opens her mouth to answer

"My full name is Rahini Aarav Dixit. Aarav Dixit is his father's name." says Rahini in a broken voice with tears.

The nurse notes the details from her. After a while she leaves. Radha sits beside Rahini and keeps her hand gently on her head.

"My dear, Life is too short. We don't have much time. We have to always keep going. I don't know anything about you. But I promise everything will be fine soon.Just take rest now. We will wait outside." says Radha

Rahini stops crying. Radha and Kannapiraan leave the room. Radha searches everywhere and looks at Kannapiraan.

"Where is Ram?" asks Radha.

"I don't know. I did not see him for long time." replies KP (Kannapiraan)

"Just call him in his mobile." says Radha

KP takes his mobile and dials the number. He hears "The number your have dialled is currently switched off. Please try again later". KP looks irritated.

"His phone is off. May be he is very angry on us." says KP.

Radha looks worried at him. "What we are going to do now? This is going to be a big problem for us. Ram might very angry on us. "

KP does not reply. He quietly sits on the waiting chairs present there. Radha sits beside him.

"Say something. How are we going to handle him?" asks Radha

"I don't know Radha. But one thing for sure. According to me, we did nothing wrong. It is a matter of life and death. I expect Ram to understand us though he is angry on us. Let us see. But I don't want to think anything else right now." says KP

Radha does answer him. Both of them sit quietly without talking anything.

A week later...

KP stands on the cash counter paying money. He receives the receipt and leaves the place. He comes to the room where Rahini is sitting with her baby and Radha is sitting beside her.

"Bill is paid. We shall leaves in half-an-hour" says KP. Radha nods like 'OK'. Rahini looks at them without saying anything. Radha packs the stuffs in the room in a bag. She smiles at Rahini who smiles a little. But he eyes shows mixed expressions.

Half-an-hour later KP comes to the room and asks "Shall we leave?".

"Yeah. We are ready. Let us go." Radha rises from her seat. She helps Rahini to get up with her baby. Radha and KP steps to move forward while stands there. Radha looks at her and asks "What happened? Just Come."

Rahini looks at both of them and asks "Where?" in a timid voice.

Radha and KP look at each other and say "What? We told you isn't it, we are taking you to our home. Just come." says Radha

"But I am sorry. I don't want to trouble you. Let me not go with you" says Rahini.

Radha comes to her in surprise "If you don't come with us, where else you are going then?"

Rahini does not reply to her. Radha says "Look, we knew your trouble. For time being you come with us and stay. We shall then talk what we can do for you. Now just come." says Radha and makes Rahini to go with them.

Rahini leaves the room with KP and Radha.

The car stops in front of the KP-Radha's house. The trio with the baby get out of the car.KP parks the car in the shed and joins them. Radha's face show worry and she hesitates to step forward. KP looks at her and asks "What?"

"Ram, is at home now. How are we going to manage?" asks Radha in a low voice.

"KP looks at her and says "Expected situation only. We have to manage. Just come inside. After all, this is our home" 

The trio enter inside the home. Radha and KP look at Ram who is watching cricket in the TV. He pretends to not to look at them. KP and Radha look at him and then to each other. Radha stops Rahini at entrance and says "Just wait for a minute. Don't enter.". She then goes inside.

Rahini looks at KP in surprise but KP smiles at her. Radha brings an Aarti thali with lighted camphor. She starts to revolve the Aarti to Rahini and her new born baby.She keeps the vermilion to baby. She then tries to keep the vermilion on Rahini's forehead but stops in the middle. Radha looks at her sadly and backs off her hand. Rahini smiles with tears in her eyes.

"After a long time, a baby is entering inside this home." smiles Radha. "Let your child's entry shall bring happiness to your life. I warmly welcome to you to our home. 'Nal Varavu' (Welcome). Come inside." says Radha with a smile. KP too smile at her. As Rahini is about to step inside, Ram rudely throws the remote in his hands with anger in his face. He looks at Rahini and shouts "Don't ever dare to step inside this house."

The trio look shocked on Ram's rude behaviour. KP looks at Ram and asks "Ram, What is this?" in a raised voice.

"Appa. I know what I am doing. I am not letting this woman to enter my house." Ram shouts again to KP.

KP looks at Ram and says "This is not at all good, Ram. Don't create any fuss. Let her come inside."

"Just now I said I will not let her inside. Didn't you hear?" says Ram. He turns to Rahini and says "Just get out of this place." in a same raged voice.

Rahini looks KP and Radha with shock and hurt in he eyes. Radha looks at Rahini and turns to Ram "Why are you behaving like this? The girl is really very weak after child birth. She needs medical attention too. This is not the time to show your anger and rage on her. Allow her to get inside, Ram" says Radha in a pleading voice.

Ram looks at both of them and says "This is not an asylum or orphanage to let strangers inside,just like that.It is a home which is meant for a family to live. When she does not belong to this family, what business she has to stay here. Ask her to get out." He looks at Rahini and shouts 

"Why are you still standing here shameless? Did I not tell you to get out. Leave the place right now."

KP looks at Ram "Ram, you are crossing the limit. That is it. My patience is running. Shut your mouth before I say something." in a controlled angry voice.He turns to Rahini and says "Come inside.Dear. Don't care about him."

Ram looks at them "Appa, Amma, What is this? Have you gone mad? Why should we accommodate her in this house?"

Radha answers him "Because she has no place to go."

"Then send her somewhere. Why you have brought here?" asks Ram

"Don't shout. There is a new born baby here. Control your volume. And where are you telling us to leave her? This is the safe place for her to live right now."

"Why, can't you send her to her house?"

"Ram, listen carefully. She is a orphan right now. She does not have parents. Her husband died very recently. Her in-laws have sent her out of the home. That is a big story. Let me tell you after wards. Now let the baby and the mother to come inside." says KP in a polite but firm voice.

"Until I am here, she will not come inside." says Ram also in a firm voice.

"What is your problem? What harms you if she stays with us?" KP asks him in irritating tone.

"If she enters this home, my wedding will get affected. Already because of her my engagement was cancelled. I will not let my wedding to get cancelled too."

"Ram, your wedding will happen at any cost. If that is the problem, then you don't have to worry. We will sort the matter out. Now allow her to come inside." says KP trying to console him.

"No way, Appa. You know how Sanjana's parents are angry on us for cancelling the engagement? Do you know how I struggled to convince them for the fuss created on that day? They told me that they have to re-consider my marriage with her. All of her relatives were gathered on that day for engagement. But because of this b**ch, it got called off.They are on full rage on us for embarrassing them in front of their relatives."

KP shouts at Ram furiously "Ram, mind your language. Otherwise..."

"What can do you? Don't try to supress me. I am no longer a child to shut my mouth on your raised voice. This is my final decision. That **** should not stay with us." says Ram

KP reaches his limit of patience and raises his hands to slap him but Ram holds his hands and stops him from doing that. Rahini watches everything with tears in her eyes. She shouts "Sir!!!"

KP,Radha and Ram look at her. She continues "Sir, Plese don't do this. Please don't fight with your son for my sake." She then turns to Ram and says "I am sorry, Sir. I did not know that you don't want me to come to this house. I will not stay here.and will leave. Please don't be rude to them."

Rahini turns back to step out as Radha holds her hand and stops her. Radha turns to Ram with anger in her eyes. She 

pulls Rahini inside the home and Ram looks shocked on her. 

"When did I teach you to insult women, Ram? I was keeping quiet when you are shouting. But using of unparliamentary words against women is not all acceptable to me.Don't you know that?"  asks Radha in raised voice.

Ram reduces his volume and says "Amma, you are not understanding the situation. What will I answer if an unknown woman that too with a baby comes and stays with us. What will the neighbourhood think about us? What will Sanjana and her family will think about us. For the past one week fully, you people forgot my engagement, running behind this woman. And now you are planning to stop my marriage once for all. Is it really fair?"

"Ram, your wedding is sure not going to be a problem. We will explain the situation her family. That is it." says Radha

"Ridiculous. Sanjana does not like her coming to this home." 

"Damn it. Who is she to decide who should stay in this house and who should not. This is our home. No outsider need to decide about it." shouts KP

"Appa, she is going to be the daughter-in-law of this house."

"Even she becomes daughter-in-law, she has no rights to interfere in our routine. And by the way you both are leaving for US post wedding. What bothers her if this girl stays here?" asks KP.

"She has to answer all of her relatives about this woman. When there is no relation between us and her, why should Sanjana face embarrassment in front of her relatives, Appa."

"You did not tell me that your fiance's relatives are that much jobless who have plenty of time to interfere in other family matters." asks KP in fury

"So what else you have to say finally" asks Ram

"This girl is going to stay with us until she finds a safe and secured place for herself. That is it. We cannot kill humanity just for a single person." says KP in a strict voice.

"If she stays here, Sanjana's parents will cancel my marriage." says Ram in fury

"Let her go. We will find another suitable bride for you. She is not the only woman in this world" says KP

"Appa" shouts Ram in full rage. "Don't ever think of that. Sanjana is my life and my breath. She is my wife at any cost."

"Oh really, If she feels the same for you, let her adjust in this home.If she cannot, let her find her own way as I said" says KP.

"Why should she need to adjust for a beggar b**ch? And by the way, why are you fighting with me for this woman without any relation." asks Ram in a teasing and provoking tone "Who knows? There might be some relation even. After all you are still capable to those things, isn't it?"

"Ram!!!" shouts KP in full volume

RAHINI - Aur Ek Prem Kahani - Innoru Kadhal Kadhai - Episode 18

Ram turns front and sees a lady come running towards the car very fast. The speed of the car is not slow enough to stop it suddenly. Ram pushes the brake with full strength to stop the car. But the car does not stop and instead throws the lady heavily.

The car stops few feet away from the lady. All the three of them rush out of the car and run towards the lady. Radha looks at the lady with a shock. The lady is bleeding heavily from her head. In addition she is pregnant. Kannapiraan and Ram also look at her and get shocked.

"Oh My God! What has happened?" screams Radha in worry. The lady starts to groan in labour pain. The trio further gets shocked on seeing that. Ram becomes tensed on the situation. He says "Amma, Appa, Let us leave this place before someone comes.".

Radha and Kannapiraan look at him shockingly. Kannapiraan looks at Ram in anger and says "Idiot, what the hell you are speaking? Do you know what you have done?"

The lady starts to cry loudly in labour pain. Radha gets tensed on seeing the lady and looks at Kannapiraan.

"What you are looking at? Just lift her and get her inside the car." says Kannapiraan to Radha. Ram looks at them in shock. "Appa, What you are saying? How can we do this?" he screams

Kannapiraan does not answer him. Kannapiraan helps Radha to lift the lady and carry it towards the car. Ram screams again "Appa, what you are thinking you are doing?"

"Ram, don't say any word now. Just go and start the car. We have to admit her in the hospital soon." says Kannapiraan in a rigid voice.Ram looks at him in irritation. He goes to the car and sits in his seat. Radha brings the lady at the back side seat. Kannapiraan sits in the front and Ram drives the car.

Ram stops the car in front of a hospital entrance. Kannapiraan gets out the car and helps Radha to bring the injured lady out.

A stretcher comes and carries the lady inside the hospital. Radha and Kannapiraan follows to her treatment room while Ram does not go with them.

The lady is carried inside a operation theatre. A lady doctor and few nurse comes to attend her while Radha and Kannapiraan wait at outside. After a while, the lady doctor comes out towards them.

"Who is accompanying the woman?" asks the doctor.

Kannapiraan answers her "We are, doctor. How is she? Nothing serious, isn't it?" he asks in worry.

Doctor turns angry "How can she be fine. Sir? Don't you people know how to take care of a carrying woman. You let her get injured and asking like this?"

Both of them become worried on the answer. "We are sorry doctor. Fault is ours only. But please tell us how is she?" says Kannapiraan in anxiety.

"More blood loss from her head and still she is bleeding. Moreover her baby is stuck within placenta. Somewhat serious case. She needs to operated immediately.For that we need sign of her relative. Are you related to her?" asks doctor

Both look at each other. Kannapiraan answers "Yes doctor. I am her uncle and she is her aunt. I will sign the form. Please operate her soon"

Radha and Ram get shocked at his answer. Doctor leaves the place and Radha looks at him with questions. Ram goes to him.

"Appa, what is this? What you are thinking you are doing?" Ram asks in anger

"I know what I am doing. Keep quiet." says Kannapiraan. He looks at Radha and says "If we don't sign, they will not do the operation. It might harm her. That is why. A small lie for good cause" 

"But what happens if something happens to her. We will be charged. Don't you know that, Appa" asks Ram

"This thinking should have been with you while your dashed her on the road." Kannapiraan answers him harshly.

Ram looks at him annoyed. "But Appa, fault is not mine, She came running towards the car. What did I do?"

"Had you controlled your car's speed, this would have not happened? All because of us. Look we did the mistake and we have to rectify it. That is it" says Kannapiraan.

Radha looks worried at their conversation. Kannapiraan goes to her and says "Don't worry, everything will be ok."

Ram leaves the place in irritation. The operation take place while both of them wait at outside.

Few minutes later...

The doctor comes out the theater and both of them look at her. Doctor comes to them and says "Operation done.It is a baby boy" 

Radha shows a relief in her eyes. Kannapiraan feels better. 

Doctor continues "Baby is safe. But mother is still unconscious.We have kept her in observation. So need to wait for few hours to know about her condition." The doctor leaves the place. Radha again turns bewildered on hearing this. So is, Kannanpiraan.

Ram comes towards them and look at them angrily. Kannapiraan notices his anger and gets reminded of the situation.

"Radha ,we have to inform the bride's family that we cannot come today." says Kannapiraan. Ram gets shocked on eharing this.

"Appa, what are you saying? This is not fair.you cannot do this to me." shouts Ram.

"Do you think it is fair to leave the injured girl abandoned?" asks Kannapiraan in anger. "Look, Your engagement can wait till tomorrow or day-after tomorrow or some other day. But this girl's life can be saved only today. So have some humanity in heart. Don't be selfish."

Radha looks at Ram in pity. Ram stares at both of them and leaves the place.Kannapiraan too leaves the place with his mobile in his hand.

Radha and Kannapiraan wait at the corridor outside the ICU ward. Some doctors and nurses keep going to and coming from the room. Radha's worry increases and Kannapiraan's face show tension.

"Why this happening to us? How happily we started from our home? Ram is very much disappointed on what happenend?" says Radha in a sad vocie.

"Yeah I know. But what we can do in this situation? He hass grown up and he should understand.I did not expect this from him." replies Kannapiraan with bitterness in his voice.

The lady doctor comes to them. "Sir, the lady got her conscious back. She is fine now. You can go and see her" says the doctor and leaves.

Both of them look happily at each other. Tears start to roll from cheeks of Radha. Kannapiraan consoles her. Both of them go inside the ICU ward room.

The lady is in sleeping state. Radha and Kannapiraan go towards the bed where she lying. Radha looks at the girl miserably. Tears roll down her cheeks. A baby's cry is heard from behind. Both of them turn to that direction.

A baby kept in a cradle starts to cry. Radha looks at the baby and smiles at it. The baby stops to cry on seeing her smile. Both of them are surprised to see that.

They again turn toward the lady as she starts to groan. Radha looks at the lady and says "This girl looks very innocent.Looks like she might not more than 22 or 23 years of age. May be, had our daughter was alive, she would have also been in this age only, isn't it?" 

Kannapiraan looks at her despondency. He holds her shoulders and consoles her.

"This should not have happened.I really feel very bad to look this girl." says Radha while she starts to cry. 

The lady slowly opens her eyes. Kannapiraan looks at the lady and smiles at her. The lady opens her eyes fully and stares at them in surprise. Radha holds her hands gently and smiles at her.

"How are you feeling my dear? Are you ok?" asks Radha to her.

The lady blinks at her and does not answer. Kannapiraan says "Let her come out her dizziness. We will talk later."

The doctor enters the room and comes to the lady. She says "Congratulations. You have given birth to a baby-boy"

The lady's face turn bright on hearing this. She struggles to talk but says "Thank you" to her.

"Thank not me. To them" says the doctor pointing to them. The lady looks at them and says "Thanks".

Radha looks at her and says "Not neccessary dear. It is ok". The lady looks at her side towards the cradle. Radha looks at that. She goes to the cradle and lifts the baby. She brings the baby and gives it to the lady.

The lady gets the baby from her with tears in her eyes. Radha looks at them with happiness. But something she notices in that lady. She looks at Kannapiraan puzzled. 

Kannapiraan does not understand her expression and asks "What happened?"

Radha says in low voice. "Just look at her. She neither wears Thiru Mangalyam on her neck nor the Metti on her toe finger. But she is having a child. How?" 

Kannapiraan notices the lady about it. He replies "Radha, Don't come to a conclusion. Sure there might be some explanation."

Radha does not answer him and she looks at the lady. The lady starts to cry on looking at the baby. She hugs the baby to herself.

Radha and Kannapiraan look at her and look at each other with a gentle smile. Radha goes towards her and consoles her.

The lady says "At last I have fulfilled your wish Aarav. I have brought your child safely to this world" and cries with her baby.

Radha looks at Kannapiraan in a meaningful look. Kannapiraan looks her like 'See, I told you, Isn't it?'. Both smile at each other again. The lady keeps crying with her baby.

A nurse comes to the room with a writing pad. She asks the lady

"Excuse me, we need details for birth registration. Please tell me your name" asks the nurse

The lady looks at her without answering.

"Rahini", Kannapiraan answers to the nurse. "It is her name"
