RAHINI - Aur Ek Prem Kahani - Innoru Kadhal Kadhai - Episode 42

‘We cannot leave her alone here’ says Meena to everyone.

 

Rahini and Sambu look at each with tension. Meena rubs the injured legs of the girl again and again but the girl groans due to the pain.

 

‘What shall we do now?’ asks Rahini

 

Meena looks at both of them pitifully.  Sambu does not say anything. Rahini looks at both of them and their silence with fear. She looks at the other side where the other girls who have escaped were standing waiting for the rest of them to come. Sambu goes to the girl and looks at her leg.

 

‘Aahhh’ screams the girl in pain.

 

Meena gets tensed on her sound and closes her mouth again.

 

‘Hey! What are you doing there?’ hears a voice from somewhere else

 

The trio are taken aback by the voice heard suddenly. All of them look at the direction from where voice was heard. The thug is standing near the window looking at them. The trio are shocked to see him at the window.

 

Sambu turns towards the girls and says ‘No other go. You have get out of this place immediately. We will carry her and jump aside’

 

Meena looks at him showing disapproval of his proposal.

 

‘Kaka, how it is possible? How can we carry her?’

 

‘No time for talking. You first climb the rope and stand beside her. I will tell you what to do next’ says Sambu looking at the thug.

 

Meena immediately climbs the rope and reaches the top of the wall. The thug gets shocked on looking at the girls and the rope handing on the wall.

 

‘What the stupid thing are you doing?’ screams the thug loudly.

 

The trio look at him anxiously and Sambu ties the girl to the rope. Meena and Rahini start to pull the little girl together upwards. Sambu pushes the girl from downwards to make the pull easy for them. The girl slowly goes upwards by the push and pull of the trio.

 

‘You bloody *****’ screams the thug at them and rushes from the window.

 

The trio concentrate on the getting the girl to the other side fast. The girl finally reaches the top of the wall. The three girls are standing on the mid-wall and turn to go down.

 

Rahini looks at Sambu and says ‘Kaka, you also come with us. They will sure kill you if they find that you helped us’

 

Sambu looks at her with a smile.

 

‘You don’t worry about me beta. Leave this place as soon as possible. I will take care.’ says Sambu

 

‘But Kaka…’

 

‘Come on fast. No time to talk now. Just keep going’ drives Sambu at them.

 

Rahini looks at him sadly.

 

‘Just a moment’ says Sambu looking at them. He climbs on the rope and reaches the girl’s place. He puts his hand in his pocket and takes a thing from it.

 

‘Have this, beta’ says Sambu and gives some rupees notes to them. Rahini hesitantly looks at them. Sambu forcefully places the notes in her hands.

 

‘These are all what I have. Let God be with you all in your bright days. Do not get trapped to these devils again.. Run as fast as your legs can carry you.’ says Sambu to them.

 

Lights start to glow everywhere and sound of many footsteps heard from inside the party hall.

 

‘Come on. Jump from here’ says Sambu to them.

 

Rahini climbs down the rope and Meena follows her with the little girl at her back. Rahini looks at the rest of the girls and says ‘They are coming after us. Run as fast as your legs can carry you. Hide anywhere if somebody comes near you. Don’t get trapped to them. Run, run and keep running.’ shouts Rahini to them.

 

‘Aaaaaahhhhhh’ hears a scream of Sambu from other side.

 

Rahini and Meena look at each other with fear.

 

‘Kaka’ screams Rahini and she steps towards the gate.

 

Meena stops her and says ‘No use. Rahini. They have killed him. If they see us, then we too shall face same fate’

 

Rahini’s eyes sheds tears heavily and she looks at Meena awfully. The sound of the gate opening is heard and both look at each other. Meena holds Rahini’s hands and start to run away from the place.

The darkness is surrounded at all sides with few dim lights glowing at few places. Two different crowds run on those dark roads with one group chasing their last hope of life and the other group to kill the hope once for all in their lives.

 

Rahini and Meena run at one corner of the darkness. The girl at Meena’s back does not allow her to run fast and both of them hide at several places whenever any thug comes near them. Rahini offers help to Meena to carry the girl with her but Meena refuses her. Their running speed had made them to miss the other group of girls and they are nowhere seen around.

 

‘This is not going to work. How much time we can run like this? If it goes on, we will sure be caught’ says Meena to Rahini

 

The thugs footsteps are near the place and both of them look at each other in panic. They close their mouths tightly to prevent the sound of their breath being heard by them.

 

‘Damn it.  How dare they’ screams the thug who noticed their escape. ‘I smelled something fishy when the whole place was unusually silent. They don’t know what a stupid thing they have done in their life.’

‘Bhau, what if didhi finds about it?’ asks another thug standing beside

 

‘Simple. They will face a fate which shall be beyond human’s imagination. Didhi is a woman by appearance but a satan in her heart. All the girls who get trapped to us again shall become living dead after we find them. We should not miss even a single devil. All of them should be caught. Go and search’

 

The girl behind Meena’s back start to groan in pain. Meena and Rahini become scared fearing of the voice being heard.

 

‘Please bear the pain for a while. We will soon leave this place’ says Rahini to that girl

 

‘Didhi, it is paining a lot’ screams the girl

 

Rahini and Meena try to hide her voice. The thugs stop moving on hearing some sound.

 

‘You heard any sound?’ asks a thug to other.

 

‘I feel so. Not sure’ replies the other.

 

Rahini and Meena get scared. The hold their breath and hold the mouth the of the girl. The thugs step towards the hiding place of the girls slowly. The girls pray God silently to save from the horrible fate after getting caught. The thugs near the hidden place and lean to look at other side.

 

‘Hey! Who is running there?’ another thug’s voice is heard somewhere.

 

The other two thugs are distracted by the voice and they look into that direction. The immediately leave the place and run behind the others. Rahini and Meena get their breathe back from the nick of time escape.

 

‘We cannot run for long time.’ Says Meena to Rahini. ‘We have go somewhere where we will not be found by them forever’

 

‘How can we go to such a place?’ asks Rahini to her.

 

A train sound is heard from far away followed by a light glowing from a moving train. Rahini and Meena look at the direction of the moving train. They again look at each other and their face show a glow.

 

‘Rahini, if we somehow manage to go to railway station, we can escape from them.’ Says Meena

 

Rahini happily nods her head like ‘Yes’

 

‘But it is not near from this place. We have to catch some vehicle and only then we can reach fast.’

 

‘Who will carry us in their vehicle without being being notice by them’ asks Rahini worriedly

 

Meena looks at her says ‘Nobody will carry us. We have to go by ourselves’

 

‘No vehicle is seen around. It is a faraway place and no vehicle passes by this area.’ says Rahini

 

Meena looks at a direction where a thug stops a mini tempo passing on the road. The thugs bully a guy who is driving the tempo. The thug holds the driver’s shirt and threaten him. The other thugs search the tempo everywhere. After a few minutes check, the thugs signal them something and the thug leaves the driver.

 

‘Rahini, they are checking every vehicle. It is not so easy to hide inside any vehicle and escape to the station’ says Meena

 

‘What shall we do now?’ asks Rahini worriedly

 

‘We should catch the vehicle which they have checked. Since they have checked it already, they will not search us in it’ says Meena

 

‘How can we go to that vehicle? It has left already’

 

‘Then we have to go that place and hide somewhere. When any vehicle comes and they finish the checking we have to get inside the vehicle.’

 

Rahini looks at Meena with half hope and half fear. Meena smiles at her giving her courage.

 

‘Let us go’ says Meena to her.

 

Both of them go to the place were vehicles pass by. They hide in a dark place far away to avoid being noticed by the thugs.

 

‘Listen. The vehicles will move fast in this place. It is not possible for us to get inside a running vehicle. We have stop it and get inside. We have to stop without being noticed by the thugs.’ Says Meena to Rahini.

 

Rahini and Meena wait for another vehicle to pass by. After a long time another tempo passes through the road and thugs stop the tempo also. They threaten the people inside and start searching inside the vehicle. Rahini and Meena look at the vehicle which is going carry them away from a dreadful fate. The thugs leave the vehicle after checking and the vehicle moves. The vehicle moves far away from the place where the thugs are standing. Meena ensures no one can notice her and she stops in the middle of the road to stop the vehicle. The vehicle stops looking at her. An old man looks at her in irritation.

 

‘Hey! Stupid, why do you want die by my hands? I am poor servant and I don’t have any money. Move away’ shouts the driver

 

Meena goes to the driver and asks ‘Dadha, can you just tell me where is the harbour?’

 

The driver looks at her and replies in anger ‘Are you insane? You are asking for harbor in a place where there is no sea at all. Go away. I have to reach the station soon. It is already late because of the idiots. I have only less time and I have to load these stuffs in the next departing train.’

 

Meena’s face turns bright but she does not show it to him. She meanwhile looks at Rahini and signs her to get inside. Rahini gets inside the backside of the vehicle along with the little girl. Meena looks at the driver and says ‘Sorry Dadha. My mistake.’

 

She steps at backside and the vehicle moves. Meena grabs the moving vehicle and gets inside it. The vehicle travels for a long time without being stopped further. The vehicle finally stops at a place which is few yards away from the station.

 

‘We have to get down here and go there by ourselves. It will not move further.’ Says Meena

 

The trio get outside the vehicle and start to run towards the station. Meena and Rahini carry the girl on their shoulders alternatively. The load behind does not allow them to move fast. The trio reach the railway station’s entrance finally after a long time struggle. Both of them breathe heavily due to the long run along with the burden and they are not able to move further.

 

‘I cannot run anymore’ says Rahini with breath

 

‘Even I cannot but we have to. We have come long way from there. If we stop here, then we cannot move further lifelong. Just adjust for a while’ says Meena to her

 

A female voice is heard from the loudspeaker hanging inside the station.

 

‘Kripaya Dhyaan dhe! Gaadi No Ek-Dho-Nou-Sunya-Dho Ahmedabad se Bombai Centrale jaanewale agali gaadi che number platform se thodi si dher mein ravana hogi’ hears the announcement in hindi. Then an English announcement follows.

 

‘For your kind attention passengers! Train No 1-2-9-0-2 from Ahmedabad towards Bombay Centrale will depart from platform number six in another few minutes’

 

Meena and Rahini look at each other.

 

‘This train is our last hope of our escape from this hell. If we miss it then we have to wait till morning. Until then our fate will not wait for us. So we have to catch the train’ says Rahini to Meena

 

‘Yes. But it looks like the train is going to depart in few minutes. We have to run long way. I don’t think we can reach it.’ says Meena in a hopeless tone

 

‘We should Meena. We have come long way from there till here and it all happened only because of you. Now just few yards are away. We have to make this final struggle. Don’t give up.’ says Rahini in  an insisting tone,

 

Meena smiles at Rahini and she nods her head like ‘ok’. The duo start to run carrying the girl with them. The climb on the stairs so fast to reach the platform number six.

 

‘Meena, what about the other girls? We have not thought about them and we did not see any of them’

 

‘Let us hope that they would have also escaped from there and pray for them. This is the only thing which we can do now.’

 

The duo keep running run fast towards the platform and they start to climb down the staircase. Meena climbs so fast and she slips down from the staircase. The trio lose the overall balance and all of them roll down the staircase so fast. Rahini reaches the ground first among the three and her forhead starts to bleed. Meena and the other girl reach the floor with injuries in their bodies. The trio groan in pain and look at each other. The sound the train hears from the platform and all of them look at it shockingly. Meena and Rahini rise up from their places and they carry the girl with them. They start to run fast that neither of them noticed a fat woman standing in front of them. They dash the woman very fast and all of them once again fall down on the platform. The fat woman angrily looks at them and the duo looks at her and get shocked. The woman also gives a shock expression in her face on looking at them.

 

‘Hey! Is it you?’ asks the woman to them

 

Both of them look at each other in panic.

 

‘I have seen you at Naina Didhi’s warehouse once. You are from there isn’t it?’ asks the woman at them

 

The girls does not answer her and look at her in fear. The woman holds the hands of Rahini and Meena tightly with her both hands.

 

‘Answer me, you s*******s. Aren’t you belong to Naina Didhi? I am so sure that I have seen you both there. What are you doing here?’ asks the woman angrily at them.

 

Rahini and Meena look at each other nervously. Another goon comes running towards the woman and says to her

 

‘Didhi, a call has come from warehouse. Some girls have escaped from Naina Didhi’s warehouse few minutes before. We are told to keep a watch in whole station and catch if any girls are found’

 

The woman looks at them furiously again.

 

‘Oh, you morons. That is how you are here?’ asks the woman to them in angry tone and she holds their more tightly. The girls look at her in bewilder and horror.

 

‘Oye! You inform them I have caught three of them at the railway station. Ask any of them to come soon and pick them from here.’ instructs the woman to the thug.

 

‘How dare you think of escaping from Didhi? Now you will face the most horrific consequence of the stupid thing of your life. Very soon the other girls will also be caught. Didhi is going to fry you like potatoes.’ Screams the woman at them.

 

The horn sound of the train is heard from the platform and train starts to move slowly from the platform. Rahini and Meena look at each other. In a nick of time both of them together bite the hands of the fat woman in full pressure. The woman screams by the pain instilled by the horrible bite of the girls and she relieves the hands of the girls. The girls again start to run from there towards the moving train.

 

‘Oye! The girls are running. Go and catch them’ commands the woman to the thugs beside her.

 

The thugs start to chase them on the platform. Rahini and Meena missed the major portion of the train and they run to catch the last coach of the train. A cat and mouse game goes on for a while between the girls and the thugs who chase them. Rahini grabs the train and manages to get inside it. Meena who holds the girl on her back makes a slow progession and she is not able to get inside. Rahini gives her hand to her but Meena cannot reach her hands. Rahini looks at the thugs who almost reached Meena and are just few feet away from catching her. Rahini nervously looks at Meena.

 

‘Meena, run fast. They are behind you. Get inside the train’ screams Rahini to her

 

Meena slows down her running speed slowly and the distance between Rahini’s hand and Meena’s hand gradually increases.

 

‘Meena, please don’t give up. Run fast. Get inside’ screams Rahini with tears in her eyes.

 

The train moves fast and Meena slows down. The thugs manage to catch the girl and Meena and hold her tightly. Rahini looks at Meena caught by the thugs. She tries to get down from the train. Meena looks at her and screams ‘Rahini, don’t stop. Keep moving. Don’t look behind. One day you come and save us all. Relieve us from this hell. Don’t get caught by them.’

 

The train moves very fast and leaves the platform. One other thug who chases the train to catch Rahini stops at the platform unable to catch it. Rahini looks at the platform where Meena and the other girl are being held by the thugs and dragged harshly with tears in her eyes.

 

‘Meenaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!’ shouts Rahini

 

The mobile phone rings and Rahini opens her eyes and jolts from her seat. The mobile phone keeps ringing on the table in front of her. Rahini looks around the whole room. She then sits straight on the chair. Her body sweats and trembles heavily. The mobile stops ringing and then rings once again. Rahini looks at the mobile which flashes ‘Chithi’. She takes the mobile in her hand and attends the call.

 

‘Yeah, Chithi. Tell me’

 

‘Rahini, can you come home immediately?’ speaks Radha nervously on other side

 

Rahini frowns and asks her ‘Why Chithi? Is everything fine? You are ok, isn’t it?’

 

‘Yes. I am fine. You just come as soon as possible to Trisha’s house.’

 

Rahini’s face turns worried

 

‘Chithi, anything wrong with her? Anything happened to her again?’

 

‘I cannot say anything to you over phone. You come home soon.’ says Radha to her.

 

The call gets disconnected. Rahini looks at the phone with tension, fear and worry.

RAHINI - Aur Ek Prem Kahani - Innoru Kadhal Kadhai - Episode 41

The whole building and the surrounded complex is filled with fun like a festival. Serial lights are glowing from nook and corner of every end. Decorations with colour papers and balloons hang at every side of the building.

 

All the girls are wandering around everywhere looking after their work of washing the used utensils, glasses, cleaning the place, serving the drinks and snacks to people etc. Everybody’s face is filled with happiness and joy, not to welcome their old leader like the brutes but about their own fate which is going to change very shortly. The previous day they got the plan to escape from the place and all are happy except Meena who is much worried about the consequence if trapped.

 

Rahini looks at her worried face and comes to her.

 

‘Meena, It is our last day of sorrow. You have to be happy’ says Rahini to her

 

Meena does not reciprocate her happiness.

 

‘You are really a stupid to think like this. You are thinking only about the escape but not about things after it. Where we are all going to go? Where we are going to live? Who will shelter us?’ asks Meena with worry.

 

‘Let us get out of here first. Then we shall think about that’ says Rahini.

 

‘You postponed to think about it many times. Now it is the time. Here, at least we are getting one meal a day. What if we don’t get even that meal outside?’

 

‘We will get three meals a day if we go out of here.’ says Rahini in a confident voice to instill courage to her and to herself.

 

‘You are too much confident. I am really scared and worried about thinking about going out of this place. Let me stay here itself. You just leave from here’ says Meena to her.

 

Rahini’s face turns sad on hearing her words.

 

‘Don’t say like that Meena. You are the only one who is left in  this world for me. I cannot go anywhere leaving you here’ says Rahini and she starts to cry.

 

Meena looks at her sadly for a while. She then hugs her and says ‘Fine. I will also go with you. Don’t worry’ says Meena to her.

 

Rahini starts to smile with tears in her eyes

 

‘No one in this world can separate us. We shall be together forever’ says Rahini to her cheerfully.

 

Meena smiles at hearing her words. Group of girls come running towards Rahini and Meena.

 

‘Didhi has come’ says the girl in the group.

 

Rahini and Meena look at each other nervously. Crackers and rocket fireworks’ sound tears the whole area at one side and sounds of troops playing bands and trumpets are heard from other side. All the girls peep outside through a small window to get the glimpse of the devil who left this place an year ago.

 

A car stops in front of the gate and one of the gang member opens the car door at backside. Naina gets down from the car slowly with a grin in her lips and she waves her hands towards her gang men. The girls who were looking at Naina are dumbstruck by the appearance of the woman whom they have met a long time back. Naina is seen dressed in red designer saree, wearing diamond jewels and platinum jewels on her whole body, lots of makeup like a film star on her face. Her completely changed appearance confused many of the own gang members to identify her. She steps inside the decorated building with a pride and arrogance which was increased in last few months.

 

‘Shall we run away?’ asks a little girl from the group to everyone.

 

Rahini signs as ‘be silent’ to her and says ‘Not now. Let them start drinking.’

 

All of them look at the proceedings which is going on outside. Naina is cheerfully talking to the gang members and all of them are laughing along with her. The members respectfully take her inside and she follows them. The girls are gathered together in a small place and are waiting for the party to begin. It is since many hours the party has started but the sound of the gang members is not reduced. As the time pass by, the girls’ face turns worried about the plan. Time has reached midnight yet none of the gang members started their drinks party.

 

‘Rahini, I think our plan is going to be a failure. We cannot escape from this place’ says a girl with frustration in her voice.

 

Rahini signs her to keep quiet and looks outside. She keeps watching the gates and the doors for security guards. She observed that the number of security guards guarding the gate is keep on decreasing as time pass by. But the happiness did not last longer as the security guards left some time back returned to their places and another set of guards were seen going inside. Rahini’s face goes upset on seeing this arrangement. Meena observes the hopelessness increasing in her minds and she holds her gently. Rahini looks at her with disappointment.

 

Meena smiles at her.

 

‘Never lose hope. Never accept defeat. Never let others down. You will be always successful.’ says Meena to encourage her.

 

Rahini smiles at her and a small hope comes in her mind and in her face. She again looks at the security guards and observes something strange. The guards who returned to the places look drowsy and tired. Rahini keenly observes their action and finds out that they are drunk. Rahini’s face turns bright and she looks at everyone with a new hope.

 

‘Looks like the people started the drinking. Very soon everybody will become intoxicated.’ Says Rahini with cheer in her voice.

 

All the other girls reciprocate her happiness. She continues to observe the gate for the number of passersby. By midnight the number of people coming inside and going inside had almost stopped. The guards were completely drunk. Rahini runs away from the place and goes towards the main party hall. She looks at few people along with Naina who were all happily laughing together with alcohol glasses in their hands. Most of them were almost intoxicated and rest of them were lying unconscious and woozy on the ground. Rahini goes back to the place quickly.

 

She comes to the girls and says ‘Time is up. Let us go’

 

The girls look at each other happily and with some fear at each other. Rahini leaves the place and the girls follow her one by one. All the girls along with Rahini and Meena jump outside a small window on the top floor. A rop is found hanging from the parapet wall as per the plan of Rahini. She uses the rope to climb down the place. She then looks around if anyone is wandering around there. She then signs the other girls to climb down. The girls follow her and climb down the rope. One of the girl makes a noise while climbing bewildering others. However no one is attracted by the sound and girls breathe again. After all have climbed down, Rahini places a slow footsteps in the area where decoration lights are not miniml. All girls follow her footsteps slowly as per her instruction. Rahini targets to reach the main gate without being noticed by anyone.

 

‘You all wait here. I will come now’ says Rahini to other girls.

 

She steps slowly towards the gateway and looks at it. The gate is closed completely and locked. Rahini again gets disappointed and upset at looking at it. She angrily looks at the guards who managed to lock the gates despite being intoxicated. Not knowing what to do she turns around and is taken aback.

 

Her eyes become widened with terror of her life on seeing the figure standing in front of her. Her heart beat rate rises and she forgets to breathe further.

 

An elderly man who joined here as beggar few years back and now being one of the gang member is standing furiously in front of Rahini.

 

‘Sambu Kaka(uncle)’ utters Rahini without any sound from throat. Her lips glitches and whole body trembles and sweats on seeing him. Sambu stares at her angrily and goes near to her. Rahini backs off for his each and every step forward.

 

‘What are you doing here?’ yells Sambu at her.

 

Rahini still trembles looking at him and she does not say anything. The other girls who were looking at Rahini are equally shocked by Sambu Kaka’s entry. The girls too started to tremble on seeing him and thinking of what is going to happen after getting caught.

 

‘Idiot. You doing heroism as if you are a  Jhansi Rani. How stupid you are to think of escaping this place from front gate. When you don’t know anything, you have to take elders help.’ Taunts Sambu at Rahini.

 

Rahini’s face turns in surprise on hearing Sambu Kaka’s words. Sambu Kaka changes his expression and a light smile is seen in his eyes and lips. Rahini and the girls breathe back  normally  and they too smile among themselves.

 

‘Sambu Kaka. Are you going to tell them that we are trying to get out of here?’ asks Rahini in a worried and scared voice.

 

Sambu goes to her and hugs her gently.

 

‘I am really very happy that you all have finally made your way from this ugly fate. For the past 10 years I have been very unfortunate to witness all the crimes and illegal things that happened here and not being able to stop any of the cruel things. For all the sins I have committed these many years, I have decided to repent now.’

 

Rahini and the girls look at Sambu with eagerness and hope.

 

‘I will help all of you to get out of here.’ says Sambu looking at the surroundings with caution.

 

Rahini looks at him happily with tears in her eyes. She hugs him affectionately and he also reciprocates his happiness to her. He looks at Meena who got disfigured some years back to make her earn more money by begging. Sambu recollects how he tried to convince them to not to do that unkind thing to little children and got threatened by them to be scarred. He feels bad for not letting them to damage him instead of the kids. He has nothing left in this world but the girl and many other children like her have totally lost their vital part of life. Sambu’s eyes shed tears on his thoughts.

 

‘God, please show these innocent kids a good way to their future. If possible, make them unite with the parents whom they have lost years ago’ prays Sambu in his mind.

 

Sambu goes to the window of the party hall and looks at the state of the thugs and Didhi. Almost all of the thugs are in muddled state while Naina alone is seated partially boozed. Sambu’s face glows on seeing them and he  goes to the girls.

 

He then looks at everyone and says ‘Listen all of you. I will take you to a safe and dark place  where you will not be noticed by anybody. Follow me’

 

The girls look at each other happily and start to follow him. Sambu carefully watches the surrounding to notice if any of the gang men is seen anywhere. He then brings them towards a place which is almost dark compared to other places. He looks a wall  with a protruding iron rod at the top which shall be very tall for the girls to climb up and jump from there.

 

Rahini looks at him with worry and asks him ‘Kaka, what now?’

 

Sambu does not answer her for a minute. He looks at the wall and thinks something. Rahini and the girls are eagerly looking at him for the instruction.

 

‘You cannot climb up and jump down very easily from here. You will surely need a rope.’ says Sambu to her.

 

‘Kaka, we have a rope there. I shall bring it now’ says Rahini to Sambu

 

‘It is very risky, beta. You somehow managed to come out of that place. If you go there again, you might get caught’ says Sambu in a tensed tone.

 

Rahini becomes upset to hear that. Sambu thinks for a while and tells to her ‘I will find a rope for you. You all try to hide in dark places until I return’ says Sambu to her.

 

Rahini and the girls look at each other with fear. Sambu moves from the place and the girls hide themselves in some dark places.

 

Sambu creeps on the area slowly and he searches everywhere for the rope. He moves further and farther from the girls but no rope is found.

Naina and her men happily enjoy the party for their long time meet. The men surround her completely and all of them laugh, dance, sing and are boozing together.

 

‘Didhi, still we are not able to believe that you are here. We missed you a lot’ says one thug

 

‘Didhi, you are sparkling like a star with those jewels you are wearing. You look like a statue made in gold, diamond, platinum etc etc’ Says another thug

 

‘Didhi, you have become beautiful now than before. No wonder that Deshpande had fallen for you and beautifying you like this’ says one another thug.

 

Naina looks at them happily and proudly.

 

‘Thank you boys for such a great celebration. I really owe a lot to you. It is because of you I am in this status. You will all have my blessings and support forever.’ says Naina happily at them.

 

‘Didhi, we are eagerly expecting the day when will become the MP and even more Minister and more than that Prime Minister of this country. When will it happen?’ asks a thug at her

 

Naina grins at everybody and says ‘Very soon. Very soon your sweet and lovely didhi shall be called as Prime Minister of this country. When that happens, you people shall be key ministers of my cabinet. I will give you Ministry of Children development to increase the kidnap of children so that they can be used for begging, And to you, I will give you Ministry of Women development to use girls for brothel and to you I will you the ministry of health and you will increase the sales of alcohol, heroin etc. How is it?’

 

Naina and the thugs happily laugh together and booze together. Naina looks at the bottle to refill her glass with the drink. All the bottles are empty without even a drop. The thugs were lying down on the floor with booze liquid and the food stuff surrounded their mouth. Some of them had vomited nearby due to high dose of alcohol. Naina looks at them disgustingly.

 

‘Oye! What is this? Party over huh? Only this much of booze is available for me to enjoy my day with you all?’ scream Naina at the men.

 

One of the men slowly stands in drunken state.

 

‘How can you think of like this didhi? Wait a minute. I will get someone to bring it for you’ says the thug to her. ‘Oye! Anybody bring the bottles from that upstairs room and serve it for our didhi.’ screams the goon in a high volume.

 

No one respond to his voice. He looks at the surrounding in surprise.

 

‘Oye! Anybody is alive there or not? Bring the Whisky bottle from upstairs’ shouts the guy again

 

Nobody answers his order again. The thug gets surprised and rises from his seat. He goes towards the place and sees people lying down unconsciously. He further moves and goes to the staircase.

 

‘Oye!’ screams the thug. ‘Do anybody hear me?’

 

No answer comes from anywhere. The thug steps upon the staircase with slow steps. He reaches the floor and looks around. Nobody is seen around. He then further moves and his turns in suspicion.

 

‘Oye! Why nobody is answering me?’ screams the guy.

 

An old beggar woman comes running towards him and stands beside him.

 

‘Ji sahib, tell me’ says the old woman.

 

The thug looks at her with irritation.

 

‘Why this place is so silent today? I ordered to bring drinks to downstairs’ screams the thug to her.

 

‘Excuse me sahib.  I was inside the room and did not hear your voice. I will bring it right now. Please don’t get angry’ replies the old woman in scare

 

The thug gives an angry look at her and turns towards the staircase. He suddenly stops and turns back again towards the old woman.

 

‘Why this place is so silent? Where are the girls?’ asks the thug.

 

The old woman gives a guilty look at the thug and says ‘The girls have been taken backyard for cleaning work, sahib’

 

The thug gets astonished.

 

‘What type cleaning work?’ screams the thug

 

The old woman with stammering voice replies him ‘There are lot of cleaning work need to be done today. So Sambu bhayya took the girls with to finish those cleaning work.’

 

The thug’s face does not show any acceptance on hearing the old woman’s statement. He steps towards the window and peeps through it. Sambu slowly walks in that dark area with a long rope in his hand.

 

‘Oye!’ calls the thug loudly at Sambu.

 

Sambu stops walking and looks at the direction from where the voice is heard. His face turns pale on seeing the thug standing near to the window.

 

‘Ji’ replies Sambu to the thug.

 

‘Are the girls with you?’ asks the thug to him

 

Sambu gets shocked on hearing the question. His hands and legs start to tremble on looking at the thug. He manages to conceal his fear and replies the thug

 

‘Ji Sahib. They are with me only’

 

The thug looks satisfied on the answer. He gets surprised looking at the stuff in his hand.

 

‘Oye! What is that in your hand?’

 

Sambu once again gets scared on the notice of rope by the thug.

 

‘Ji. I am carrying this rope to tie some of sacks in the warehouse which got untied.’ replies the thug with tremble

 

The thug gives an annoying look and leaves from the place.

 

Sambu breathes heavily on the mere escape and rushes fast towards the girls.

 

The girls are waiting eagerly at their hiding places for Sambu Kaka to return. Sambu runs towards them even without brathing.

 

‘Girls come out your places. We are very short of time. You need leave from here soon’ screams Sambu in a low voice heard only by the girls.

 

The girls creep out of their places and gather at the place. Sambu gives the rope to Rahini and she gets it from them.

 

‘You climb up and tie the rope tightly to that hanger’ instructs Sambu to her.

 

The girls immediately make a vertical line standing one on another and Rahini finally climbs up and reaches to the hanger. She ties the rope on the hanger and signs with her thumbs up.

 

‘Girls, without making any noise, one by one climb the rope. Rahini once the girl reaches the top drop the rope to other side and let her climb down. Do this until all the girls finish climbing down on the other side. You have to be fast.’ Instructs Sambu to Rahini.

 

Rahini gestures like ‘ok’ and helps the girls to climb the rope. One girl begins to climb up the rope and other girls help her to progress upward. She reaches the top of the wall and Rahini pulls the rope and drops to the other side. The girl then uses the rope to climb down. Rahini again pulls the rope from the outside and drops it inside. Another proceeds to climb up the rope. Meena helps the girls to climb up when any of them struggle to climb. Rahini gestures her to climb next but she ignores and focuses on helping other girls.

 

Almost all the girls went  to the other side with only Meena and one other girl left this side. The girl climbs upward but she falls down in the middle by a poor hold. The girl cries loudly with pain and the fear of falling from the height. All others are scared by the loud voice of the girl.

 

Sambu rushes to help her and holds her mouth to prevent her voice being heard by people inside. Rahini gets tensed on looking at the slip but Sambu gestures her to proceed further. The girl cries out of the pain due to the injury in her leg. Rahini, Sambu and Meena look at her nervously on her inability. Rahini gestures Meena to climb the rope but Meena does not do so.

 

‘Meena, come soon. By the time you finish climbing she will get better and would climb again. Don’t waste time’ says Rahini to her

 

‘Yes, she is correct. You climb the rope beta. We will do something to make her climb’ says Sambu to her.

 

Meena does not respond to Rahini. She goes to the girl who is groaning out of pain and presses the injured part of the leg. Sambu and Rahini look at her with tension in their faces.

 

‘Is your pain got minimized? Can you climb the rope now?’ asks Meena to that girl.

 

The girl sheds tears and nods her head ‘no’. The other three are shocked by the sudden inability of the girl and look at each other helplessly.

 

RAHINI - Aur Ek Prem Kahani - Innoru Kadhal Kadhai - Episode 40

Rahini and Meena are seated on their torn bed sheets on the cold floor. Meena’s face shows fear and Rahini’s face shows panic. Both of them do not talk for a while.

 

‘Rahini, what are you thinking about?’ asks Meena to her

 

Rahini looks at her and says ‘What can I say? You very well know what would be our fate if we don’t escape from here. Lot of girls came here before and after us. How many of them are here now? A night comes and one thug comes here and takes one among us each day. We never saw any of them again. One day it is going to happen to me also. Some guy will come and take me and I shall be never seen again’ says Rahini and she starts to weep without noise.

 

Meena looks at her pitifully and at the girls who are sleeping in that room waiting for the disastrous fate. She gently holds her shoulders and consoles her.

 

‘I can understand. If it is our fate then we have to accept it’ says Meena

 

Rahini looks at her angrily.

 

‘I cannot accept it as my fate. This is not my fate. I am not an orphan. I have a mother, a father and a sister. I want to go back to them’ screams Rahini with tears.

 

‘Shhh, Don’t shout.’ says Meena holding her hands on Rahini’s mouth. Rahini reduces her voice and keeps weeping.

 

‘Where are they?’ asks Meena to her.

 

Rahini looks at her with a perplexed expression. Meena glares at her and her silence.

 

‘You do not know where is your family but you want go to them. It is really rubbish.’

 

‘They are in Tamilnadu. I know’ replies Rahini to her.

 

‘Do you know where it is located? Do you know the way to go there? Do you know whom you have to find? At least do you remember your family members’ face?’ asks Meena angrily.

 

Rahini again remains silent.

 

‘If you can escape from this place, no one more than me can be happy. I want you to leave this unfortunate fate and live a meaningful life. But I am scared whether a 10 year old girl can deceive those flesh mountain thugs and run away from here. What if you get trapped? Just think once.’ says Meena to her.

 

Both of them are distracted by a movement from somewhere. Both of them look at each other in fear.

 

‘Rahini lay down. Someone is coming’ says Meena nervously.

 

Both of them lay down on their places and close their eyes tightly. A thug enters the room and comes near to the sleeping girls. He looks at the girls one by one from both sides. The girls are in deep sleep due to the full day tiresome work given to them. He moves away from Rahini and looks at Meena. He gives a disgusting look at her and moves away from her. He then looks at a girl who is around 10 years old. He goes near to her and looks at her. He gives a cunning smile and touches her whole body from head to foot. The girl slowly wakes up by the disturbance created by the thug and her face turns scared on looking at him.

 

‘Shhh. Don’t scream’ threatens the thug to the girl. ‘Listen carefully. You just come with me.’

 

‘Where?’ asks the girl in a tired and sleepy voice.

 

The thug gets irritated and says ‘Your parents have come to pick you up from here.’

 

The girl’s face turns happy on hearing the words. ‘Really? My parents have come here?’

 

‘Why would I lie to you? Your mom searched you in this world and finally found you here. We told her that we will take you to her. If you come with me you can go to them.’ says the thug to her

 

‘Ok. Let us go’ says the girl and she rises from her bed.

 

‘Wait’ stops the thug. ‘I am the only one who know where is your mum. If I should take you to her, what you will give for me?’ asks the thug to her.

 

The girl blinks at him and does not say anything.

 

‘What should I give?’ asks the girl innocently looking at him.

 

The thug looks at her cunningly and says ‘You need not give anything. I will take it from you’ says the thug to her.

 

He gives a lustful look at the body parts of the girl and places his hand on the prohibited parts of the girl. The girl bewilderedly looks at the thug unaware of the sexual harassment imposed upon her. Rahini looks at the atrocious incident in a baffled and bloodcurdling gaze. Her body movement distracts the guy and he looks at the direction of distraction. Rahini meanwhile pretends to be in sleep before he catches her awake. The guy then rises up and holds the girl in his hand and takes her away from the place.

 

Rahini and Meena rise up from their places and look at the direction where the girl went with him. Rahini angrily turns towards Meena and screams

 

‘Did you see what happened now? Did you what that he had done to her? Do you really want me to face the same fate? That girl who went shall be never seen again in our life. I am not going to accept this fate at any cost. I have to escape this place soon’ screams Rahini as tears roll down from her eyes like anything.

 

Meena gently hugs her and tries to console her.

Six months later

 

One of the senior thugs and important member of the gang comes to the main hall and calls his men with happiness in his voice.

 

‘Oye! Good news. Naina didhi is coming here to meet us this weekend’

 

All the other members of the gang also become happy on hearing the news.

 

‘Bhau, it is since an year she left this place to live with that MP, Vikas Deshpande, isn’t it?’ asks a thug to him.

 

‘Yes. Though she left this place, she did not leave us or this business. Now she is a very important person in the life of that flop MP. You know didhi’s influence is growing day by day in the party where that Deshpande is the member. Very soon she will also become a key member in it. Even more powerful than Deshpande’ replies the senior thug to him.

 

‘If she becomes a MP or a minster, then our business shall grow like anything, isn’t it bhau?’ asks an enthusiastic thug to him.

 

All of them go very happy and cheer within each other.

 

‘Let us hope such a thing happens. Well. It is since long time after didhi is coming here. So we have to give a grand welcome and a great party to her. Make arrangements for that. But remember her visit is a top secret.’

 

The thugs hug each other in happiness and all of them take a alcohol bottles in their hands to celebrate the visit of Didhi. Rahini watches the cheer and happiness of the thugs and her mind starts to think of something.

Rahini rushes to the place where Meena and other girls are gathered to do the day-to-day work. Meena looks at Rahini and gets surprised on seeing the unusual happiness in her face.

 

‘Rahini, what is up? You look so happy.’ Asks Meena to her. All the other girls look at Rahini and show the same surprise in their faces.

 

‘Yes. Dark days are going to disappear. Very soon we will all be relieved from here’ says Rahini in a cheerful but low voice.

 

Meena and girls show a surprise filled shock in their faces.

 

‘Hey, What are you saying? Are we going to be released from here? Is it true?’ asks Meena with eagerness in her voice.

 

‘No. It is time for us to escape from this place’ says Rahini in a joyful voice.

 

Meena’s face shows utmost disappointment on hearing her words.

 

‘You did not drop your stupid idea even after these many days.’ asks Meena angrily at her.

 

‘What you are saying? We got a golden chance. That devil liar Naina is coming here this week. For that, the flesh mountains are going to celebrate a party. When all are enjoying the party we can escape from here. That is the plan’

 

Meena gives a frustrating look at her however other girls’ face show a hope and happiness on hearing Rahini’s plan.

 

‘Good idea, Rahini. They will be thinking only about her and no one will care about us. We can escape easily’ says a girl happily.

 

Meena looks at all of them angrily.

 

‘You have all became insane. This plan is never going to work. I swear’ screams Meena at everyone.

 

Everyone look at Meena with an upset and disappointed look. Rahini looks at Meena sadly and goes to her.

 

‘Meena. This is not insane. Our last hope to get away from this unfortunate fate. Let us break this cage and fly freely as we wish. Don’t say ‘no’ to this. I really need all of your co-operation to do this. Only then we can achieve our mission’

 

Meena does not say anything to her. Rahini looks at her with eagerness. She then leans her hand and looks at everyone.

 

‘Let us all together fight against this evil’ screams Rahini provoking the courage of the other girls.

 

All the girls hesitantly place their hands on Rahini’s hands and show their consent. Meena looks at Rahini pathetically. Rahini smiles at her and gestures her to place the hand. Meena slowly and hesitantly places her hand on those hands. Rahini turns happy on seeing that.
