SAHANA APRTMENTS
Rahini looks at Mrunalini in shock and surprise. Mrunalini’s reaction appears very unusual to Rahini. She helps her to sit on the sofa and sits beside her. Mrunalini breathes heavily as if she breathes after a long time.
‘Ma ji. Are you OK?’ asks Rahini to her with a tension in her voice.
Mrunalini does not speaking anything but she gets breathing problems and wheezing. Rahini gets bewildered by her trouble and looks around everywhere to give aid and assistance to her.
‘Ma ji. What happened? How can I help you?’ asks Rahini nervously.
Mrunalini’s wheezing worsens and she is not able to speak. Rahini takes her mobile phone and dials it but Mrunalini holds her hand and signs her towards a place on the other side of the room. Rahini immediately goes to the place and searches for something. Few minutes later she discovers a bag and opens it. A spray is kept inside the bag and along with it some medicines were present. She takes the bag towards her and places a spray bottle in her mouth. Mrunalini inhales the medicine slowly and her wheezing starts to reduce. Rahini keeps her hand on her hand and helps her to get settled. Mrunalini starts to breathe normally now and Rahini brings her some water.
‘Ma ji, do you have asthma trouble?’ asks Rahini to her worriedly.
Mrunalini looks at her miserably and replies ‘Yes. I have this trouble for a very long time. I tried my level best to keep it in control. Somehow something ensues and causes problem to me.’
Rahini looks at Mrunalini in worry. ‘Ma ji. Like many other people, I will not think that rich people are the happiest ones. Everybody have their own problem or something. However I have never met a person who has these many complications in life despite being rich.’
Mrunalini tries to smile at her statement but her eyes shows a deep grief.
‘I am trying to heal myself only for the sake of this poor girl. Who shall be there for her if something happens to me?’ says Mrunalini and tears again start to roll in her cheeks.
‘Ma ji. Nothing would happen to you. Please don’t strain yourself.’
‘No, beta. Whatever is happening currently around me has absolutely made me to lose hope on everything. I don’t know how to save this little girl from the most dangerous world after I pass away. This thought itself sometimes make me go nervous and triggers my wheezing trouble.’
‘Ma ji. I am not able to understand your problem at all. You were asking me to withdraw this case after hearing that some Gagan is appearing for them. Why is it, Ma ji. Are you scared of her?’
‘Yes. Not for the reason which you think but for another reason.’ says Mrunalini to her anxiously. Rahini does not say anything and allows her to speak.
‘I am scared because she will use the opportunity to enter into that house and manage to convince my son to marry her. If such a thing happens, she will ruin Trisha completely and make her a lifeless being.’
‘Ma ji. It shall not be such an easy thing. Until I am there, no one can dare to think about harming a child in this city. If that Gagan ever considers to hurt Trisha, then she can surely forget to laugh for rest of her life Ma ji.’
‘You really do not know anything about her. I am her bua. Her whole family are of devil breed. They can do anything in this world to achieve their ambition. After all, what is going to be difficult for them when they can spoil the future of an innocent girl and throw her out of the house?’
Rahini looks at her in astonishment. She was about to ask something to her but her mobile phone rings.
‘Rahini here’
‘Mam, where are you now? Chief Editor wants to meet you very urgently.’
‘Oh gosh!’ exclaims Rahini and she looks at her watch.
‘OK. Just inform him that I am on the way and shall meet him in another half-an-hour.’ says Rahini to the caller and disconnects the call. She looks at Mrunalini who looks very tired by the asthma trouble.
‘Ma ji. I am sorry. I have to go now but I don’t want you to leave you alone. I shall call my Chithi here and she will take care of you.’
‘It is ok Rahini. I am fine. I will take care and you don’t trouble anybody in your house.’
‘She will be very much willing to help you. She will stay with you until she is satisfied that you are good.’
‘No beta I am fine. You don’t…’
Rahini interrupts her and talks in mobile.
‘Chithi, can you please come to second floor of our block? To flat 2A.’
…
‘Yes. OK.’
She disconnects the call and says to her ‘Ma ji. My chithi will come here soon to help you.’
Mrunalini looks at Rahini benevolently with a small smile in her face.

ARTE MANSION
Gagan looks at both of them with a feeling of proudness in her eyes. Arun and Rohit look at her without blinking their eyelids.
‘If you agree to this plan, then everything shall move very easily as you wished’ says Gagan with cheerfulness in her voice.
Rohit and Arun look at each other. Rohit gestures to Arun like ‘What is this?’
Arun looks at Gagan and asks ‘A small doubt. This suggestion of your is to either to release us or imprison us permanently?’ in a sarcastic mode.
Gagan glares at him and says ‘You are not aware of the outcome it can make. Cases which gets stretched for years abruptly ends only in this way. This is a silly country which values these useless affection, family, sentiments etc etc not realizing the real value of money. Even idiots who never bow to millions and billions of money, have to bend in front of us when their beloved one’s necks are noosed.’
Arun and Rohit does not reply to her. Gagan looks at both of them wondering at their silence.
‘It is true guys. This is a very common thing especially for rich people like you. My father actually suggests this kind of ideas to his clients when the stupid witnesses are very persistent to back off from the cases. This plan 99% worked for us, dude’ says Gagan in a emphasizing tone.
Both of them still remain in silent and look at her strangely. Gagan gets irritated by their silence and she shouts at them.
‘Arey yaar! What the hell you people are still thinking about? I swear that you will not land into any complications rather you will get benefitted. Do you know Ms.Naina Deshpande?’
Arun frowns at her question and says ‘Naina Deshpande?’ He looks at Rohit who also looks wondered at the name.
‘You people have very good general knowledge’ says Gagan mocking at them. ‘Naina Deshpande is an ex-MP. She is also going to contest in upcoming parliament elections from her party. She is targeting for Union Cabinet Ministry post this time. Probably she will get it’ says Gagan
‘Fine. What is up with her and this case?’ asks Rohit to her.
‘Oye! She is an active socialist especially she is famous for her fight against kidnap of young children. She was also awarded for ‘Most Active Social Worker’ of the year last time by some organization called ‘Suraksha’’ says Gagan and looks at both of them.
Arun and Rohit look at her with annoyance. Gagan speaks enthusiastically looking at them.
‘Not those stupids who gave her award know that she is the actual perpetrator who is backing the mafia gang to kidnap young children and sell them all over the world.’ says Gagan and she starts to laugh like she heard a funny joke.
Arun and Rohit look at each baffled by the news told by Gagan.
‘Not once or twice. There were several attempts made to expose her real face in front of the society. Yet none of them succeeded. How do you think she achieved it? Only because of the short route which I suggested to you now. Her assailants are very powerful enough to carry out any type of task and they never spare anybody coming in their way. If you want any help in this case, I can surely refer them to you. She is my father’s longtime client. They will successfully accomplish your task. What do you say, buddies?’
Arun looks at her with fright and thinks. ‘Ma was always right about you. Actually devil is an ordinary word to describe you baby. You are much above that. Perhaps you will become the heir of that Naina Deshpande very soon. God! Please save this country and our people especially the innocent men from these vampires.’
Rohit does not say anything. Arun looks at both of them again and again in irritation. He scratches his forehead and looks at Rohit.
‘I feel we can think about any other better idea. Rohit Kumar is not just a name but a brand. If it gets spoiled, then we will have no other go other than to jump into the well.’ says Arun in a diffident tone. ‘Does not our Indian Penal Code has holes to get us out of this fix? Even if it does not have one, we are having the daughter of country’s famous criminal lawyer who is capable to pinning new holes in our book of laws.’
‘Yes. It has quite enough number of holes to come out, darling. But you don’t want even a single hearing to take place for this case. So this is the only option.’
Rohit opens his mouth and says ‘I will meet Trisha and talk to her. I will convince her and ask for apologies. If she speaks in my favor, this case might break.’
Arun looks at Rohit in wonder. ‘Bhayya, day dreaming is very bad for health. Trisha would never meet you, listen to you or speak in favor of you. The moment she hears the word ’Papa’, she shall run away in 100 miles per hour. Don’t even imagine such things to happen.’
Rohit looks at Arun angrily.
‘Then talk to that lady politely and convince her to withdraw the case’ says Gagan furiously.
Arun looks at her and says ‘I repeat, day dreaming is bad for health.’
‘Then do you have any better idea?’ shouts Gagan in full volume at him.
Arun looks at her with a terrified look. He does not speak anything to her further. A short silence prevails in that room for few minutes and all the three ofthem look at each and everywhere thinking about the next step.
Few minutes later Arun opens his mouth and says ‘Bhayya. I feel that this idea is not that much bad.’
Gagan’s face turns bright on hearing Arun’s statement.
