Well you all think I have thrown my car driver out of job and struggling for transportation. Not really
Well that struggle can be tolerated but I have thrown away my driver software of my webcamera and doing nothing but sit and shout.
You may ask. Why the hell? Google and get your driver software. But I found a thing, it is easy to fetch a driver for car from google but not the driver software of my web camera.
One year back, I bought a webcam HYTECH HT5520 model, as my father is abroad and me & my mom can have video chat with him. I installed the driver and using it. The product was very good. I cannot deny. But the biggest mistake which I have done is, I lost the driver disk. I did not care about it that time. I did not take back up of the disk into my system too. Why to waste a disk?
After a while, I formatted my machine and the driver for the webcam got washed away. Then I did not even think about the webcam. Recently, I thought of having test video chat with my smartphone and desktop using skype. Then only I realised , the driver software is not with me.
No problem. Just like that I went to Google, searched for the software with keywords 'hytech ht5520 driver download'. About 13000 results came but none had what I want. I went to Hytech website but they did not publish the software there instead instructed to drop a mail for that. I did the same. Till now I did not get any reply.
For the past one week to 10 days I am searching searching searching. Search only going on. Nothing else.
My father used to make back ups for everything he gets. He repeatedly insisted me to that. That time, I was irritated by that torture. But now I feel, my father is correct. Had I done what he said, there will not be any regrets
There are things which we will struggle to get even if we have money. I have money to buy the software but I don't know who will have that. My camera is now like a showcase piece.
Nowadays computer accessories are in plug and play mode. But my cam is still a Tipu Sultan period product which asks for driver.
My sincere suggestion to all people who read this. Don't ever think we can download anything we want. We can download things which is available in Internet and not which does not have.
1. So have a back up of all software which you have. No matter how easily it can be got from net.
2. Keep your driver disks original safe.
3. Do not buy HYTECH product. Their support is very worst. WORST is an ordinary word. Very^Infinity worst.
Throw your engine driver even but not your electronic product driver.
