BACK TO THE PRESENT

"Time and Tide wait for none"

One of the most famous proverb anywhere in the world. There are different ways of the same in different languages but meaning is one. Time once gone, forever gone. We cannot gain even a single millisecond back.

Please do turn this page away. This is not any philosophical article advising you to spend time effectively rather a briefing of some of the facts and theories which were discovered related to time.
There are different questions raised by millions of people in this world. Say for example, repeating the proverb above, what is the necessity of this proverb in this world?
  • What is a time?
  • What is the role of time in one's life?
  • What is the beginning of time and when does it end?
  • Why we are not able to gain time even second?
  • Is time confined to the clock which is hanging in our home walls in 12 hours or 24 hours format?
What is a time?
Time is a measurement. Time is a relative factor. A unit measurement mainly in perspective of a human being.
Then what is the definition of time when there is no one or no human in a place.
Nothing. There is no time in a bare land. Time is measured with respect to human beings. So is there entirely no time when there are no human beings? No, we cannot entirely rule out the possibility. However, time starts to exist there as past when some human beings start to measure them in present.
What is the role of time in one's life?
Time is everything in every one's life. It exists because of us.
What is the beginning of time and when does it end?
Time is a beginning less and endless factor. However the beginning of something and end of that thing occurs in some unit named time span which we term it as "incident".
When an incident begin, time begins there.
Is time confined to the clock which is hanging in our home walls in 12 hours or 24 hours format?
No. The clocks hanging in our wall is a reference factor for us to know the time to plan our work, do our work, finish our work or anything.
The most important question
We all are aware of the fact that we are losing time. But why do we lose it? Why we are not able to gain it back?
Lot of us in this world have dreamt and still dreaming of travelling in time to and fro. Some of the creators expressed their wish through their imagination in the form of stories and movies.
We are all very well aware of the famous time travel movies such as "Back to the future" where a young school boy and a scientist squeeze time according to their wish.
Is it really possible to travel through time as depicted in the movie?
The answer is half yes.
Yes. You read it right. But what is that half yes. Yes. We can travel through time in forward direction but not in backward direction i.e we can travel to future but not to past and not back to past.
How is it that we can travel to future?
There are several ways out of which two ways are very famous.
Cryogenic Sleep
One is a long hyper cryogenic sleep in which we sleep in a cryogenic container for years. This will prevent our body to get to old age. So we can wake up when we are programmed to. If a person desires to wake up after 1000 years he can sleep for thousand years and continue to live his life with the same body.
Next way which is barely not possible to do right now. It is still hypothetical for humans.
Speed of Light
Travelling in the speed of light. One should sit inside a vehicle capable of travelling to the highest speed limit which a man can ever imagine.
In this way too, we can travel to future but not to past and not back to past.
Coming back to present.
FOURTH DIMENSION
Time is considered as fourth dimension in our perspective. A dimension is a mathematical space. It is made of co-ordinates. One co-ordinate.is one dimension. Group of co-ordinates gives a shape. We are visualizing something when we are within some dimension. We are three dimensional. Not only us, everything which we see around is three dimensional.
What are those three dimension? It is X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis
X-axis goes in horizontal straight line
Y-axis goes in vertical line.
Z-axis goes in different line relative to X-axis and Y-axis.
The Z-axis is different between the two-dimension and three dimension.
For any object prevailing in any dimension, time will be the additional dimension. Time is reference factor which will give meaning to those other dimension stuffs.
As already said, it is we who are creating a meaning to something with the measuring scale of time. For our convenience we have divided the time into three zones
Past, Present and Future. Anything belonging in-between will fall under any of the categories.
Time starts when something happens. What is that happened already? What is that "happen". What do we mean by "happen"?
Happen is the factor which triggers the time. Happen and Time are bonded with each other.
Imagine a vast space. Nothing is there. No trees, no ground,  no soil, no air, no water, no sky, no light, no air absolutely nothing. You come to that space and see the space. The moment you start stepping or seeing the space, time begins. When you leave the place, time ends there. When another person starts to see that, time once again beings. Something happens i.e someone is seeing that space and triggering the time. A "seeing" happened there. This is not only for human beings. If the vast space is seen by a cat or dog, time starts to exist. Until someone sees it, it is nothing.
Time is something begun by something which begins from nothing and ends when that something does not exist.
Past:
Something which has happened already according to a human being either during his presence or absence.
