RAHINI - Aur Ek Prem Kahani - Innoru Kadhal Kadhai - Episode 49

Rahini horrifically notices the bottle with the liquid and she was left with not even a single second to react. All she was able to do is to close the eyes and accept the brutal fate for the rest of the life which the liquid is going to create. Seconds passed but nothing fell on her rather she heard only a sound of broken glass on the floor followed by some ‘ssssss’ sound. She opened her eyes and watched the spilt liquid which was disfiguring the iron rods placed on the ground. She meanwhile heard a cocktail of sounds and noises in different places.

Pratik is fighting with something in his hand and he is surrounded by three thugs. Some policemen are doing lathi charge on the thugs whom they caught. Some thugs started to scatter and run at different places. She was so surprised to see Arun in that place and her face showed a sign of understanding how policemen came inside. Arun was looking for something probably he was looking at Trisha. He ran here and there in search of her.

Rahini slowly opened her eyes and expressed horror in her eyes shaken by the melted metal. Acid! What would have happened had the liquid was spilt on her! She could not imagine the consequence of it. But how it did not fall on me? She then understood she is not standing in the place rather she was moved from there. How? She then remembered a pull in a fraction. Someone pulled her from that place and the bottle broke open Spilling  the liquid. Who pulled me from there? She felt that some hand is holding her still. She turned around and was surprised. A man was holding her tightly. Both of them were so close enough to kiss each other. He was the same person who gave her life in his car. This man saved from the most horrific acid attack. Rahini felt very grateful for him.

Rohit realized that he is still holding her hand and released her gradually.

“Thank you so much” said Rahini

Rohit looked at her and said “It is ok”

Both of them realized their surrounding and looked around. Rahini’s brain got back to work and she felt surprised on his presence in that place.

What is he doing here? Is not he supposed to donate blood for his daughter in some hospital? As Rahini was thinking about him, she did not notice one of the thug holding an iron rod to attack her from behind. Rohit noticed him and reacted in seconds. He quickly pulled her from that place and gave a heavy kick on his chest which pushed him aside far away. The thug fell amidst some iron rods which got disturbed falling on him. Probably he cannot move even a single inch by the injury caused.

“Watch-out lady.” Said Rohit to her and he left the place.

Rahini saw him grabbing the collar of some thug who tried to attack him. Police understood lathi charge is of going to be no use anymore and started firing. This gave a drastic effect on the thugs and all of them started scattering from there. Police managed to grab them and put hand-cuffs. Some of the thugs got injured in their leg making them immovable. Some of them managed to escape from the place. Pratik somehow managed to grab the evidences from the thug who was caught by the police. He kept it safely in his bag.

Arun came running  from somewhere and said “Inspector Sir! I searched fully .I cannot find our child.”

His voice showed nervousness and anxiety.

“Don’t worry Mr.Arun. We have caught few of them. We will make them spit the truth from their mouth along with their blood” said the police officer.

Rahini angrily looked at Arun and yelled “What nonsense you have done? Do you think I don’t know to report police and bring them here. These people specifically instructed not to go to police else they will harm the child. I was trying to convince them but you spoiled everything”

“Oh really! So you are saying that we should keep quiet and sit at our home while you and your staff will do heroic stunts and bring our child back. We will compliment you for that.” Asked Arun angrily.

Rahini angrily glared at him.

“I saw your pathetic position when we entered here. If not us, you would have got crushed by them. You should thank me for saving you” said Arun

Rahini joined her hands and said “Thank you so much. But now if you please tell me how the hell you are going to find about the whereabouts of the child. Some of them have escaped from this place. Sure they are going to inform the people who are keeping her. They might harm the child when they come to know they failed.”

Arun now glared at her angrily.

“It is all because of you.” He yelled at her “You were speaking to us as if you are the savior of our child but you got her into unimaginable trouble.”

Rahini felt so bad on hearing it. She was not able to retaliate. The idiotic thugs mistook the girl as her child and kidnapped her. How the hell they are so foolish to think that she is my daughter!

Rohit watched both of them in surprise. Why Arun is yelling at this lady? Who is she? Why both of them are fighting? What she has got to here?

“Alright! If your blame game is over, let me go and check where she is.” said Rahini angrily

“She is not here. I checked thoroughly” said Arun.

“So it means everyone should stand here like statues?” asked Rahini.

“Just shut up ok” said Arun angrily. “We know how to find our girl. You don’t have to teach us. You don’t have any right to open your mouth right now. It was because of you our child got into this terrible danger.”

“How many times I can say this to you?” screamed Rahini. “They mistook her as my child. Actually they are supposed to kidnap my kid not yours. It was a mistaken identity.”

“Super cool” said Arun in mocked tone “So you admit that you are living in some danger zone in your life putting the lives of your family at stake. The mistaken identity is going to cost us heavily. My mother idiotically thinks that Trisha is going to be fine under your custody. Now she will understand in what of kind of danger you have put her. At least now my mother should realize who her real well-wishers are”

“This is limit. This has never happened to me before” said Rahini.

“Excuse me” interrupted the inspector. “We need to find the child. Let us have your fights later.”

“Inspector I need to lodge complaint against this woman for putting our child into danger” said Arun

Rahini gave an angry look at him.

“We will take that later. Now if you please allow us to do our duty” said the inspector as he was grabbing the thugs’ collar and taking them away.

Rahini looked at Rohit who was looking for something. She felt very grateful for him in that very minute.

This man is really a savior today. He has not gone to see his daughter and rather came here to save me. Only God has sent him in that very minute. I don’t know how I going to repay him for that. She set a step

towards him but what happened the next minute shocked to her life.

“Bhaiyya!” said Arun to him “Why did you come here? I told specifically not to. You never listen to me. You are trying to be hero in real life? What would have happened if the thugs had attacked you?”

“I would have got injured or died.” Said Rohit

Rahini’s entire body froze in that very second when she heard Arun calling the man as ‘Bhaiyya’. She looked at the both men with greatest shock of her life. He is calling him as ‘Bhaiyya’ which means he is the father of Trisha no the monster.

Rahini reminded of the incidents and dialogues which he spoke few minutes back while they were on the way. How could it be possible?

“Bhaiyya, please. Stop speaking non-sense. You could have not taken this trouble. I will handle it. You go home and take care of Ma”

“Bull shit!” screamed Rohit at him “Do you think I am a coward to run away when my daughter’s life is in danger?”

Rahini looked at him with shock, anger, disgust etc.

“I am not returning home until I find her and take her safe with me.” Said Rohit

“But bhaiyya…”

“Listen, either I return home with her and pass away along with her. This is final.”

Rahini gave a mocking look at him. Arun noticed the look and went to her.

“What?” he asked her “I know what running in your mind right now. You think my brother is acting in-front of you. Is it not?”

“I don’t have to think anything” said Rahini “I am not a fool to witness the drama you are running here.”

“Excuse me, lady. What is your problem? Why are always after us? You charged us that we failed to protect a little child and lodged a complaint against us but it is you who should be charged for. You are saying we are creating drama here.”

Rohit looked at Arun and Rahini with shock. He came to them and asked “Chota! What did you say? She lodged complaint against us?”

“Haan Bhai” said Arun with disgust “She is the lady who is getting us into trouble in one way or other. The great journalist Rahini Dixit.”

Rohit looked at her with surprise but it did not last long. His eyes showed arrogance and hatred on her in seconds. Rahini glared at him with hatred and disgust.

“Had I known it was you, I would not have given you ride in my car” said Rohit

“Had I known it was you, sure I would have not stopped you. You spoke as if you are a caring and loving father in the world. But I know the real truth about you Mr.Kunal Arte. You are the one

Cruel monster in the world”

“Hey! Watch you words. I saved your life few minutes back.” screamed Arun

“I feel ashamed of that.” replied Rahini

“Bhaiyya! You did one of the worst blunders in your life.” Said Arun “Look here Madam! Please note down carefully. If our child does not return safe, sure you cannot imagine what will happen

In your future. Your journalists are real f**king ba*****s and”

“Excuse me” heard a voice behind. Pratik came towards them and glared at Arun angrily. “Watch your words Mister. Freedom of speech does not mean you can talk as you like. You don’t have any rights to call us like that.”

Arun turned at him angrily. “Hey buddy! You don’t have to teach me democracy. Watch you back or else I thrash your f**k a****le before you…”

Pratik got furious and he grabbed Arun’s collar angrily. Arun in turn grabbed his shirt and both of started to fight. Rahini reacted immediately and tried to pull him from Arun.

“Stop it!” screamed Rahini as she tried to separate both of them. Rohit was standing watching them fight. She glared at him angrily and tried to pull Pratik away.

“You will f**k not reach your home” screamed Pratik.

“Let me see, who reaches home and who reaches jail” screamed Arun

“Will you please stop it?” said Rahini “Look, I admit that mistake happened. It is my duty to rectify it. I know what they want. I will give them and bring your child safely. You got it?”

“We don’t need your help. We know how to bring her back.”

“Don’t be silly. None of your stunts is going to help here. She can be relieved only if we hand-over these stuffs to them. They are after it.”

“I am sorry. I am not giving this to anyone. I risked my life to gather this. I am going to give it for someone who grabs my collars and speaks ill of journalists” said Pratik

Rahini looked at him shockingly and she turned at him angrily “Non-sense! Pratik I did not know you are stupid more than I imagined. I already told you a little girl’s life is at stake. We are wasting time here. Don’t play now. Let us go.”

“No way” said Pratik firmly “They said they can handle it. Let them do it. These evidences are essential for the story. I am not giving it.”

“Pratik this is not the time for fun. Don’t persist. It is a matter of little girl’s life.”

“Excuse me, stop your dramas. We don’t need your help. We will handle it. It will be good that I you mind your own business in future and not interfering in our life again. If you have any gratefulness running in your blood, then come to decision of not wasting our time with false accusations and drag us to court. After all my brother saved your life two times today. I hope this should be the last time we meet” said Arun angrily “Bhaiyya! Come one let us go”

Rohit and Arun left the place. Rohit and Rahini exchanged the world’s big hatred before he left.

“Uff” said Pratik “Finally I saved my hard earned work”

Rahini looked at him disgustingly.

“So your heroism became more important than a little child’s life?”

“Don’t blame me. You heard them right? They told they will handle themselves. I believe they are some influential people. Police will take care of that. Why are you bothering me?”

“What if they don’t?”

“We will see at that time.” He said

Rahini’s mobile rang at that time. Thank God! She put it in mute. Else they would have taken it away from her. She frowned on looking the at the number splashed.

“Hello”

Rahini’s face turned pale during the conversation.

SAHANA APARTMENTS

Mrunalini sat on the sofa with all hopelessness of our life. Radha sat beside her but with little distance. She did not feel like staying there but her situation had made her to. Radha lost all her concern for Mrunalini after their last meeting. She still cannot forgive her for not thinking about her son’s attitude and wanted to marry him off to their daughter. How dare she!

KP can understand what is running in her mind. He gestured her like ‘Not right now’. Radha turned her face from him.

“If God appears in front of me, I would wish only one thing. Take me with him. Along with me my little angel. Neither of us have courage to bear the cruelty which is happening to us.”

“Wrong Mrunalini ji” said KP “You should ask for happiness of your family. Not this. Please stop worrying. Rahini will bring her home safely. Trust her.”

"Enough of everything. I have no strength to tolerate any more shocks in my life. I wanted to stay alive for the unfortunate soul. But my life getting suck everyday."

"Mrunalini ji, do not lose hope. Everything is going to fine" said KP trying to console her. He looked at Radha pitifully and request her to do something for her by hi seyes. Radha expresses her reluctance to him but KP requests again like 'please'. Radha sits near Mrunalini and touches her gently.

Mrunalini's tears keeps rollling through her eyes. Mobile on the table phone rings. Radha looks at the ringing phone of Mrunalini which flashes 'Anirudh calling'. She takes the phone and gives it to her.

'Mrunalini ji, your son is calling' 

Mrunalini gets surprised and her eyes sparkle in hope. She quickly grabs the phone and attends the call.

"Beta, what happened? Did you get my baby safely?"

She kept listening to Arun for a while and her face turned in shock
